In the article "How hard did July heat hit?", published Thursday, Aug. 8, Green County Agriculture Extension Agent Mark Mayer was misquoted. Mayer said he would not be surprised if Wisconsin saw corn prices go down to $4 or $5 per bushel this fall. Mayer noted that current cash prices being quoted for new crop corn contracts for this fall are currently at $4.35/bu. The Times regrets the error.
