In the story titled "Illinois woman sentenced for Darlington phone store burglary" that ran in the Jan. 11 edition of the Times, information provided by the Lafayette County Circuit Court was incorrect. Vanity LaStar Garcia, 26, was sentenced to 14 days in jail and three years on probation in connection with the September 2016 burglary. Garcia also received an imposed and stayed prison sentence of 18 months initial incarceration and two years on extended supervision.
