Green County Felonies
- Lonnie V. Kelley, 40, Monroe, was found guilty on Sept. 13 of breaking conditions of his probation. On Jan. 21, Kelley was found guilty of battery, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a Sept. 6, 2010 incident. Court records indicate that his probation was revoked on Sept. 13. Kelley was sentenced to 15 days in jail and has to pay $263. Kelley was also found guilty on Sept. 13 of battery, a class A misdemeanor, and bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor, both stemming from a May 15 incident. He was sentenced 30 days in jail for the misdemeanor battery charge, to be served consecutively with the felony battery charge, and sentenced to 15 days in jail for the bail jumping charge, to be served consecutively with the misdemeanor charge. Kelley was fined $343.
- Thomas A. Bobzien, 47, Converse, Texas, was found guilty on Sept. 15, after pleading no contest to a charge of failure to support a child, a class I felony, and pleading no contest to two charges of failure to support a child, both class A misdemeanors. Bobzien's case was a deferred prosecution and sentencing, where he is to follow the prosecution agreement, which includes paying child support. Court records indicate that Bobzien failed to pay child support over 120 days, from April 1, 2006 to Oct. 30, 2006, on the felony charge. Bobzien failed to pay child support under 120 days, from Dec. 1, 2006 to March 1, 2007 and Jan. 1, 2008 to April 1, 2008 for the misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to 24 months probation, ordered to continue paying child support, and fined $1,097.50.
Misdemeanors
- Justin W. Hartwig, 25, Belleville, was found guilty on Sept. 14, after pleading no contest to a charge of resisting or obstructing an officer, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an April 30 incident. He was fined $505.
- Matthew G. Marty, 19, Monticello, was found guilty on Sept. 14, after pleading no contest to a charge of possessing THC in the form of marijuana, an unclassified misdemeanor, stemming from an April 8 incident. He was fined $393.50. Marty was also found guilty on Sept. 14 of possessing THC, an unclassified misdemeanor and bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor, both stemming from a May 13 incident. This case was a deferred prosecution and sentence, where he is to follow the prosecution agreement, which includes preventing future law violations. He was fined $326.
- David A. Kahl, 45, Oregon, was found guilty on Sept. 19, after pleading no contest to a charge of disorderly conduct, an unclassified forfeiture, stemming from a Nov. 21 incident. He was fined $267.50.
- Nathan F. Dittmer, 25, Oshkosh, was found guilty on Sept. 19, after pleading no contest to a charge of disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor, stemming from a Aug. 30 incident. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, which he was given credit for time served, and fined $243.
