Misdemeanors

On Monday:

• Danielle A. Bauer, 28, Monroe, was released on a $1,500 signature bond with additional conditions that she not drink or have any violent or abusive contact with the alleged victim in this case. Bauer is charged with disorderly conduct, battery and resisting an officer, stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 7. Court records indicate Bauer allegedly attacked a woman who was in a truck after they were arguing about the ownership of a dog. Bauer allegedly punched the victim multiple times, threw a cellphone at her and pulled out a clump of her hair. The responding officer noted in the criminal complaint that the victim had various scratches and bruises and was handed a large clump of hair. Bauer alleged that the victim initiated the confrontation and she had a split lip. She has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.

• John A. Beilharz Jr., 28, Beloit, was released on a $500 signature bond with additional conditions that he not drink or have any contact with the boat landing in the 500 block of County F, Decatur Township. Beilharz is charged with one count of public fornication stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 16. Court records indicate that police stopped by the boat landing on County F and saw Beilharz and a woman disrobed and on top of one another in a grassy area in plain view from the highway. He has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.

• Brittany N. Mellem 25, Monticello, was released on a $500 signature bond with additional conditions that she not drink or have any contact with the boat landing in the 500 block of County F, Decatur Township. Mellem is charged with one count of public fornication stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 16. Court records indicate that police were patrolling the area around the boat landing and saw Mellem and a man disrobed and on top of one another in a grassy area in plain view of the highway. She has a pretrial conference set for Dec. 12.

• Lance W. Kleeman, 29, New Glarus, was released on a $1,500 signature bond with additional conditions that he not drink or go to bars or liquor stores. Kleeman is charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, both third offenses, stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 10. Court records indicate the responding officer witnessed Kleeman cross the fog line and center line multiple times while driving on Wisconsin 11, Town of Sylvester. After being pulled over the officer noted in the criminal complaint that Kleeman had bloodshot eyes that appeared glossy, and a strong odor of intoxicants was emanating from the vehicle. When asked where he was coming from Kleeman answered "Albany," and was asked where he was going to which Kleeman responded "Albany," adding that he was lost. A field sobriety test was performed and Kleeman had a PAC of .258. He has a pretrial conference set for Dec. 2.

• Jessie Lee Hanson, 33, Monroe, was released on a $500 signature bond with additional conditions that she have no contact with the alleged victims in this case or drive a vehicle without a driver's license. Hanson is charged with one count of hit-and-run stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 21. Court records indicate Hanson allegedly rear-ended a vehicle on Wisconsin 59 while trying to pass the vehicle in the right lane and then drove off. The next day Hanson called the police department and said she caused a crash and was subsequently arrested. Hanson alleged she fell asleep while driving. She has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.

• Maria De Los Angeles Serrano-Villanueva, 32, Madison, was released on a $750 signature bond with additional conditions that she not drink or go to bars or liquor stores. Serrano-Villanueva is charged with DWI with a passenger under the age of 16 and driving with a PAC with a minor passenger stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 5. If convicted for the maximum penalty Serrano-Villanueva could face up to six months in jail, have her license revoked for 18 months, a fine of $1,100 and the installation of an ignition interlock device upon relicensing. She has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.

• Evelyn P. Price, 28, New Glarus, was released on a $1,000 signature bond with additional conditions that she have no violent or abusive contact with the alleged victim in this case. Price is charged with battery and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on Sept. 5. Police reports indicate Price allegedly attacked the victim in a parking lot in the 300 block of Elmer Road, and the victim had to be transported to an area hospital due to the injuries sustained. Price has a pretrial conference set for Dec. 2.

• Jennifer L. Jones, 39, Monroe, was released on a $1,000 signature bond with additional conditions that she have no contact with the alleged victim or their residence. Jones is charged with battery and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on Aug. 17. If convicted for the maximum penalty Jones could face up to $11,000 in fines or one year imprisonment or both. She has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.

• Gary D. Harris, 64, Argyle, was released on a $300 signature bond with additional conditions that he have no violent or abusive contact with the alleged victim in this case. Harris is charged with one count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on July 31. If convicted for the maximum penalty Harris could face up to 90 days in jail or a $1,000 fine or both. He has a pretrial conference set for Nov. 25.



Lafayette County

Felonies

On Monday:

• Brooke P. Nolte, 26, Shullsburg, had a cash bond set at $1,000 on three felony counts of failure to pay child support. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 1. If convicted for the maximum penalty Nolte could face up to 10-and-a-half years imprisonment or $30,000 in fines or both. He has a preliminary hearing set for Oct. 14.

• Jessica M. Gallagher, 26, Dubuque, Iowa, was released on a $1,500 signature bond for one count of theft under $10,000. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 6. If convicted for the maximum penalty Gallagher could face up to 10 years imprisonment or $25,000. She has a preliminary hearing set for Nov. 4.

• Nicholas S. Bennett, 27, Dubuque, was released on a $1,500 signature bond for one count of theft under $10,000. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 6. If convicted for the maximum penalty Gallagher could face up to 10 years imprisonment or $25,000. He has a preliminary hearing set for Nov. 4.



Misdemeanors

On Monday:

• Clayton A. Johnson, 28, Monticello, had a cash bond set at $1,000 for charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Aug. 29. Police reports indicate that Johnson was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a ditch on Wisconsin 11, Gratiot Township. Police found marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle and Johnson was subsequently arrested. He has a scheduling conference set for Nov. 4.

• Robert J. Carley, 34, Platteville, was released on a $150 signature bond for one count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Aug. 30. If convicted for the maximum penalty Carley could face up to $1,000 in fines or 90 days in jail or both. He has an adjourned initial appearance set for Oct. 20.
