Christopher J. McGoff, 33, Monroe, will serve one year on probation as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement entered Wednesday on one count of misdemeanor battery. McGoff also had one count of bail jumping and disorderly conduct dismissed. If McGoff complies with all stipulations of the DPA he could have the charge expunged from his record. Court records indicate that on Feb. 9 McGoff came home drunk and yelled at his live-in girlfriend, waking her up. McGoff then proceeded to punch the victim about five times in the head leaving about a two centimeter gash on top of the victim's head. She also had bruising on her arms. McGoff has a fine of $263.

Richard J. Randecker, 50, Benton, had a three-day jury trial scheduled Tuesday starting Feb. 4 of next year on two counts of Class C Felony second-degree sexual assault of a child. The charges stem from an incident that occurred sometime in the month of June. Court records indicate that Randecker allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl and inappropriately touched the young girl on two separate occasions. He also allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to the victim, who showed her mother. The mother wrote down the content of the text messages on a notepad, but she lost the notepad and the victim had gotten a new phone. Randecker told law enforcement he thought the victim was hitting on him and he felt "sick about liking it." Randecker will have a pretrial conference on Jan. 21, 2015 before the first day of his jury trial on Feb. 4, 2015.

Kimber Lee Raemisch, 27, Albany, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea entered Wednesday of one count of disorderly conduct; she also had one count of battery dismissed. Raemisch owes a forfeiture fine of $282. 50. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 12.
