On Friday:
Dustin L. Meier, 25, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no contest plea on revocation of misdemeanor counts of domestic abuse related disorderly conduct, battery, intimidating a victim and a felony count of strangulation. Meier will serve three years and nine months in prison, with two years of probation. Meier was originally sentenced on April 29 to 12 years of probation but violated conditions of his parole in October. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Feb. 12, 2013. Court records indicate Meier held a knife to a person's throat and hit the victim many times. He owes the court $997.
Amanda F. Fox, 29, Wausau, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of felony forgery; three additional counts of forgery were also dismissed. She will serve two years on probation with conditions that she obtain and keep a job. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on March 27, 2013. Court records indicate Fox forged a check for $160.29 at Stop-N-Go in Monroe; $224.37 at Kwik Trip in Monroe; $61.97 and $220.47 at Francois Oil Citgo in Monticello; and $262.91 at Ampride in New Glarus. She bought cartons of cigarettes with checks written over the amount so she could get cash back. She owes a fine of $176.

On Friday:
Kyle L. Trumpy, 21, McConnell, Ill., was found guilty due to a no contest plea of driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, and had a charge of driving with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration dismissed. Trumpy will serve 43 days in jail with work release privileges, have his driver's license revoked for 27 months, serve two years of probation and is ordered to install an ignition interlock system after being relicensed. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Dec. 9, 2012. According to court records Trumpy was in a one-vehicle accident on Gutzmer Road, Town of Mt. Pleasant. His vehicle ran through a guard rail causing him minor injuries. He later had a breathalyzer test at the hospital and had a blood alcohol concentration of .171 percent. He owes a fine of $1,685.
Christy L. Schultz, 36, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of taking a vehicle without consent of the owner. She owes a forfeiture fine of $452. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on March 6 and 7. Court records indicate Schultz and Brooke A. Pohl took a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup under the assumption that the owner had loaned it to them. The two women drove from Monroe to Freeport and back to drop off Pohl's child and then left the vehicle at the Super 8 Motel in Monroe. The women were later found hiding in the floral department of Piggly Wiggly.
Michael Mitchell, 54, Milwaukee, was found guilty due to a no contest plea on revocation of disorderly conduct, he also had a charge of battery dismissed. Mitchell was sentenced to one year of probation on Sept. 11, but violated his parole on March 25. As a result he was sentenced to 90 days in jail without work release privileges. Court records indicate Mitchell yelled and swore at his girlfriend on April 26 and he grabbed her by the arm leaving a bruise. Mitchell called the police to report a theft of his furniture on April 28 when the victim showed law enforcement her bruises. Mitchell owes a fine of $176.
