Felonies
• Breanna Becker, 20, Belmont, faces a Class I felony count of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and a Class A misdemeanor count of receiving or concealing stolen property. The Belmont Police Department received a tip from Grant County Crime Stoppers that Becker was allegedly involved in a burglary April 22 in the 100 block of West Lafayette Street in Cuba City. Police stopped Becker April 30 in the parking lot of the Lactalis cheese factory in Belmont and a search of her vehicle yielded a laptop computer, television, sound bar and DVD player. Later that day, police searched Becker's residence and found two plastic bags containing 4.2 grams and 1.8 grams of marijuana, as well as a digital scale and plastic grinder. She has a preliminary hearing July 22.
Misdemeanors
• Zenia Delacruze-Murrillo, 32, and Ana G. Garcia-Diaz, 25, both of Darlington, face charges for a Jan. 19 incident at the Montchevre-Betin cheese factory, 336 Penn St., Belmont, where Delacruze-Murrillo was employed. Delacruze-Murrillo is charged with two counts of battery and Garcia-Diaz is charged with one count of battery. The women allegedly assaulted a co-worker who Delacruze-Murrillo believed had gotten her fired. The morning of Jan. 19, Delacruze-Murrillo's temp agency informed her she had been fired from the cheese factory, allegedly because the victim had complained to a manager the previous week that Delacruze-Murrillo had bullied her and thrown a box at her. When the victim arrived at work and got out of her car, Delacruze-Murrillo and Garcia-Diaz reportedly threw her to the ground by her hair and slapped her. Delacruze-Murrillo reportedly wielded a pocket knife with the blade exposed. Several bystanders eventually broke up the fight. Garcia-Diaz also faces a Class A misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer for allegedly giving police a false name. Both women have initial appearances June 18.
• Timmy A. Reed, 41, Shullsburg, was arrested and jailed March 21 on two Class A misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Earlier in the day, police responded to a report of damaged cars and overturned benches on Center Street, South Wayne. Police suspected there might be a connection to a report the previous night of a car revving its engine and squealing its tires in the 100 block of West Grove Street, where Reed lives. When police made contact with Reed, he said he burned out his tires the night before, then walked along Center Street, where he flipped benches and kicked cars. He said he had been drinking beforehand. He has an initial appearance June 1.
• David J. Winkler, 41, Monroe, was arrested and jailed May 8 on a Class B misdemeanor count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. Winkler allegedly hit the victim in the chest and shoulder at his residence in the 400 block of State Street in Argyle when she asked him if he took money out of her purse. Winkler told police he borrowed $20 from the victim and doesn't remember any physical altercation taking place. He signed a $500 bond with the conditions that he have no contact with the victim, take no nonprescription controlled substances and not drink or go into bars or liquor stores.
