On Friday:
Robert Lee Prinkey Jr., 42, Brodhead, had a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct dismissed on a prosecutor's motion. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Dec. 16. Court records indicate Prinkey was accused of threatening, yelling and swearing at a woman and other members of the household. All charges were dismissed.
Robert Lee Prinkey Jr., 42, Brodhead, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of misdemeanor bail jumping. Prinkey Jr. was on bond from the above case that ordered him not to drink or have any contact with the alleged victims of his domestic abuse charges. He will serve 45 days in jail and owes the court $443 in fines.
Donald J. Alexander, 22, South Wayne, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of misdemeanor theft and had a felony charge of forgery dismissed. Alexander was charged with theft and forgery stemming from an incident that occurred on Sept. 14. He is ordered to pay back restitution to the victim whose checkbook he stole. He will be on probation for one year, and if he complies with all conditions and pays back restitution fees, his charge could be expunged. Court records indicate Alexander stole a checkbook and wrote two checks on two separate occasions at Kwik Trip in Monroe for two packs of Marlboro Menthol Black 100s cigarettes. He wrote the checks for $10 over the total price in both instances. Alexander owes the court $176.
