He was also put on an 18-month probation with conditions that he maintain absolute sobriety and complete anger management counseling. The charges stem from two incidents last summer at homes in Monroe, according to court records. On July 13, Scott shoved a woman up against a wall. On Aug. 6, police responded to a call from a family member that Scott had been binge-drinking "hundreds of little bottles of Fleischman's vodka" for three days straight and was vomiting. Scott was taken to an ER, where he registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.27 percent.
David C. Friedli, 40, Monroe, had his probation revoked on misdemeanor convictions of battery and disorderly conduct and was sentenced Jan. 5 to one year in jail, which he may serve with Huber work-release privileges if he remains alcohol- and controlled substance-free. His original convictions stem from incidents in 2015 at homes in Monroe. Court records indicate he was abusive toward a woman on two occasions, including dragging her by her hair and strangling her so violently that she had broken blood vessels in her eyes, raspy speech and difficulty swallowing. According to his probation agent, he broke the conditions of his probation by failing to pay his court fines and by regularly sexually abusing the woman and continuing to be violent toward her.

The cases stem from a traffic stop July 21 in the 2500 block of 12th Street in Monroe, after police responded to a report of someone pointing a gun out of the vehicle. The gun was later found to just be an air pistol, but officers were "overwhelmed by the odor of marijuana" during the traffic stop and found marijuana and paraphernalia for selling it in the vehicle.
