On Wednesday:
Eric T. Mangone, 37, Madison, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of possession of marijuana. He also had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed. Mangone was originally arrested for felony possession but the charge was reduced. He was fined $473.50. Court records indicate that on Sept. 27, Mangone was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for speeding. He was found in possession of 7.8 grams of pot in a glass jar, a metal grinder containing 1.2 grams of pot and a multi-colored pot pipe.
Dominique A. Ropele, 19, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of possession of marijuana as a party to a crime, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Ropele was sentenced to two years of probation with conditions that she not drink, do drugs, that she undergo alcohol and other drugs assessment classes, that she work toward obtaining a high school diploma or GED or maintain full-time employment. If Ropele complies with all conditions, the charge could be expunged from her record. The charges stem from an incident that occurred Oct. 3. She owes a fine of $444.

Rick A. Wirth, 42, New Glarus, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of disorderly conduct as a party to a crime; he also had a charge of battery dismissed. Wirth was fined $316. Police reports indicate that on Nov. 4, Wirth got into a fist fight with his brother outside a tavern in the 110 block of 5th Avenue, New Glarus.
Kevin J. Olson, 57, Janesville, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, stemming from an incident that occurred Nov. 12. Olson was fined $243. Police reports indicate Olson took a truck from a farm where he was employed in the Town of Decatur. The truck was returned to the owner.
Jaime Castellanos-Lugo Jr., 25, Monroe, revoked his probation for a conviction of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct Tuesday for failure to appear. Castellanos-Lugo was sentenced Tuesday to 30 months on probation, concurrent to his other convictions, with conditions that he have no contact with the alleged victims in this case. Court records indicate that in September 2012, Castellanos-Lugo was drunk and verbally abusive towards his family. Castellanos-Lugo was also found guilty, due to a no-contest plea, of retail theft stemming from an incident that occurred in January 2013. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation, concurrent to his other convictions. Castellanos-Lugo was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of bail jumping, stemming from an incident that occurred in March 2013 and was sentenced to the same penalty, concurrent to his other charges. Court records show he stole a $39.99 bottle of Ciroc Coconut vodka from a business in the 720 block of 8th Street. He was also found guilty due to a no-contest plea of theft stemming from an incident that occurred in February 2013 and was sentenced to the same penalty, concurrent to his other charges. Court records indicate he stole two aluminum planks, a bender and four sets of scaffolding from a location on 24th Street in Monroe. He owes a combined fine of $804 for all his sentences.
