• Curtis L. Cavallino, 47, Beloit, remains free on a $2,000 signature bond after making his initial appearance in court Monday for three counts of failure to pay child support.
Court records indicate he failed to pay child support between June 2005 and May 2007.
He is charged with three counts of failure to pay child support, each a class I felony. He faces more than 10 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.
His preliminary hearing is April 18.
Misdemeanors
• The court Monday scheduled a May 6 district attorney conference and entered a plea of not guilty for Adam R. Anderson, 18, Brodhead, who stood mute to a disorderly conduct charge.
Court records indicate he got into a fight with another student Jan. 23 at Brodhead High School.
He is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to three months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $500 signature bond.
