FELONIES

• A warrant for the arrest of Kristina Lee Hamilton, 31, Viroqua, was filed on March 3 after she was charged with four Class I felony counts of failing to provide child support dating from between 2014 to 2016. According to a criminal complaint, Hamilton failed to make child support payments between Aug. 1, 2014 and May 1, 2015. She then failed to make payments between Dec. 1, 2015 and April 1, 2016, and again between May 1 and Dec. 1, 2016. Hamilton reportedly owed $104.21 per week, adding up to a total of $8,281.42. Hamilton has not yet been apprehended. Her charges carry a maximum possible sentence of 6 years in prison.

• Kyle R. Neuenschwander, 23, Monroe, was charged March 9 with a Class F felony count of burglary, a Class H felony count of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent, misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft, and six Class H felony counts of bail jumping. Neuenschwander was charged after an incident in the 900 block of 1st Street in New Glarus, when Neuenschwander's mother reported that her home's back door had been kicked in and her vehicle and keys stolen. She strongly suspected Neuenschwander's involvement, and Neuenschwander was later found driving the stolen vehicle, with various syringes and tourniquets in his possession. Neuenschwander's actions also violated his bond from a 2015 possession of narcotics case in Dane County. Neuenschwander signed a $4,500 signature bond and a $500 cash bond on March 9 with conditions that he not possess or consume any controlled substances or have any contact with his mother without her permission. His maximum possible sentence is 28.5 years in prison.

• A warrant for the arrest of Autumn Nicole Cannon, 21, Albany, was filed March 10 after she was charged with a Class H felony count of bail jumping. Cannon was charged after she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on a previous retail theft case on March 7. The maximum possible charge is three years in prison.

• Thomas Jon Ott, 50, Monroe, was charged this week with 10 Class H felony counts of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer. Ott received four of the bail jumping charges and the obstruction charge on March 10, when he was reportedly found sleeping in a woman's vehicle in the 2200 block of 5th Avenue in Monroe despite being prohibited from having any contact with the woman by the conditions of his bond from a 2016 domestic assault case. This violation itself violated the bonds from a litany of previous bail jumping cases that prohibit him from drinking or committing crimes. Ott received the other six bail jumping charges on March 14, when he was found drinking heavily in the 500 block of West 21st Street in Monroe. Ott currently has 21 charges of felony bail jumping against him from various incidents throughout the last year. He will appear in court for a preliminary hearing on the latest charges on April 13. The latest charges carry a maximum possible sentence of 30 years in prison.
