Felonies

- Jory T. Keating, 22, Grand Marsh, was found guilty June 6, after pleading no contest to a count of disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor, and count of criminal damage to property, a class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 12 months probation and fined $486.

Court records show that Keating intentionally yelled and called names at a female victim, while pushing the victim down and causing the victim to hit her head on a child's dresser in a bedroom and grabbing her neck. Keating then followed the victim into the living room and began throwing items, breaking a picture frame and a computer. Keating put the victim in a head lock and began strangling, causing pain and difficulty to breathe. Afterwards, he followed the victim to the deck and pushed her off the side of the deck.

- Randall S. Zuber, 33, Monticello, was found guilty after pleading no contest to a charge of a fourth-offense OWI in five years, a class H felony. Court records show that Zuber was charged with an OWI on East Lake Avenue in the Village of Monticello on Oct. 30, 2010. He was sentenced to 24 months probation, 60 days in jail and fined $1,399.

In another case, Zuber was sentenced to 24 months of probation after pleading no contest to reduced charges of two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, both class A misdemeanors, on April 10. The probation sentence is to be concurrent with the OWI sentence and Zuber was also fined $486.
