The court Monday scheduled an Aug. 5 district attorney conference for Randal D. Spohn, 49, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to attempted battery and disorderly conduct.
Court records allege he pushed a woman and shoved her to the floor July 2 at a Monroe residence. He was previously convicted of threatening to injure in 2005.
He is charged with attempted battery, a class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor, as a repeat offender. He faces up to four years in jail and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $750 signature bond.

Court records allege he grabbed and woman and shoved her July 6 at a Monroe township residence.
He is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to three months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $500 signature bond.

Court records allege she cashed four checks for about $480 between June 12, 2007, and July 13, 2007.
She is charged with issuing worthless checks, a class A misdemeanor. She faces up to nine months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.
She remains free on a $1,000 cash bond.
