Green County Misdemeanors

• Elliot L. Wenzel, 23, Brodhead, pleaded no contest July 2 to an unclassified misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession, amended from a felony, and was ordered to pay the court $804.25. The conviction stems from a traffic stop Dec. 30 on North Mechanic Street in Albany. Wenzel was found with a black camera bag containing 90 grams of marijuana, divided in various amounts into five Ziplock-type baggies.

•  Markus Aaron Wallgren, 25, Argyle, pleaded no contest July 3 to a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and was granted a deferred prosecution on this and other related charges that will be dismissed pending successful completion of the yearlong agreement. Conditions of his deferred prosecution agreement include payment of a $243 fine, no drinking, an alcohol and drug abuse assessment, a mental health assessment and quarterly monitoring conferences. Court records indicate on April 6 Wallgren punched out the driver's side window of a pickup truck and repeatedly punched the truck's owner in the face outside Sir Buk's Dance Club, W5222 County KK, Monroe Township, and on April 28 caused a disturbance in Stop-N-Go, 1607 9th St., and did cartwheels and pushups outside in the middle of the street, blocking and impeding traffic. Alcohol was a factor in both cases.

•  Thomas Allen McLean, 25, jailed in Monroe, was charged July 3 with misdemeanor counts of trespassing, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer, stemming from an incident June 12 outside a residence in the W4100 block of County W in Exeter Township. Court records indicate he yelled at a woman, punched out the window of her parent's van, lied to police about how he got cuts on his hands and trespassed into a nearby dwelling. His initial appearance is July 15.
