FELONIES

- Heather Robyn Grace Hale, 22, Monroe, pleaded no contest Thursday, July 19, to misdemeanor charges of battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Multiple counts of other misdemeanor charges and felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. She was sentenced to 30 months of probation with conditions that she obtain and maintain employment, continue mental health treatment and alcohol/drug counseling, take all medication as prescribed and not drink. The charges stem from four arrests made by Monroe Police in April and May for reported domestic disturbances.

- Greg Allen O'Bel, 40, incarcerated, pleaded no contest Thursday, July 19, to revoking his probation July 5 on two counts of felony bail jumping and was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months of extended supervision with conditions that he continue alcohol/drug treatment, obtain and maintain employment and not drink. He owes the court $157. The original bail jumping convictions stem from an arrest in December 2010 on charges that O'Bel bought alcohol at a convenience store, violating terms of a $2,000 signature bond on two previous felony charges.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY MISDEMEANORS

- Garrett J. Grinnell, 19, Monroe, pleaded no contest Wednesday, July 18, on an unclassified misdemeanor charge of possessing THC (marijuana) and was sentenced to six months of probation with conditions that he find work or attend school full-time, undergo an assessment for alcohol and other drug abuse and not drink. The charge stems from an offense in December. Grinnell was also fined $243.

- Cassie Marie Kruser, 23, Darlington, pleaded no contest Wednesday, July 18, to a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one year of probation with conditions that she undergo an assessment for alcohol and other drug abuse and not drink. The charge stems from an offense in January. Kruser was also fined $243.

- Steven James Victory, 23, Mineral Point, pleaded no contest Wednesday, July 18, to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property and was sentenced to seven days in jail and one year of probation with conditions that he undergo any recommended counseling and not drink. He was also fined $343. The charges stem from a domestic disturbance in April on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

- Kole A. Figi, 18, Argyle, has an initial appearance scheduled Aug. 6 on misdemeanor charges filed Wednesday, July 18, of possessing THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia, stemming from an incident in May.

- Gustav H. Runde, 20, East Dubuque, Ill., has an initial appearance scheduled July 30 on a Class A misdemeanor charge filed Wednesday, July 18, of criminal damage to property, stemming from an incident in April.

- Joshua Steven Johnson, 30, Darlington, has an initial appearance scheduled July 30 on 28 charges filed Wednesday, July 18, of misdemeanor bail jumping, stemming from incidents in June.
