GREEN COUNTY FELONIES
Chester J. Preston, 35, Mazomanie, is scheduled to make his initial appearance Feb. 4 for threatening to blow up the Green County Courthouse.
Court records indicate he threatened to blow up employees in the child support office if they took away his driver's license Oct. 19. He later told them he didn't mean them specifically but rather the building.
He is charged with threatening an agent of the Department of Workforce Development and threatening to injure, both class H felonies, and a bomb scare, a class I felony. He faces more than 15 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.
