Misdemeanors

• The court Monday scheduled a May 7 jury trial for William J. Werrline Jr., 55, Monroe, who is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

Court records allege he hit a man with a board from a computer desk and repeatedly hit him in the face with his fist April 4 at a Monroe residence.

He is charged with battery, a class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to one year in jail and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $1,000 signature bond.

In a second case, the court Monday scheduled a June 11 jury trial for Werrline for charges of criminal damage to property, bail jumping and disorderly conduct.

Court records allege he yelled at a woman and kicked her laptop off a stool Aug. 24 at a Clarno township residence. He was on bond for battery and disorderly conduct at the time of the incident.

He is charged with criminal damage to property and two counts of bail jumping, all class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to 30 months in jail and up to $31,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $1,500 signature bond.
