Felonies


• Fred Tim Agee, 62, Belleville, pleaded no contest Jan. 30 to a fifth-offense charge of driving while intoxicated. His prosecution is being delayed while he spends a year in a Rock County Veteran's Court treatment program for alcohol abuse and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The charge stems from an arrest June 22 after he crashed a red Ford Ranger on County W in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle rolled and landed on its roof. Court records indicate his blood-alcohol level was 0.143. He was previously convicted of DWI in April 1992, twice in April 1997 and once in May 2008.

• Bryan Scott Adams, 41, Monticello, was charged Feb. 4 with a Class G felony count of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Court records indicate on Nov. 21, 2009, Adams was deer-hunting off County X in the Town of Albany when he slipped on a log while crossing the Sugar River and accidentally shot himself in the right thigh with the Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun he was carrying. Adams was convicted of armed robbery in 1991 in Kane County, Ill., and it is illegal for convicted felons to possess weapons. His preliminary hearing is Feb. 18.

• Timothy I. Theis, 31, Sun Prairie, was charged Feb. 5 with felony bail jumping after he reportedly failed to appear for a status conference in court in Monroe on Jan. 29. A warrant is issued for his arrest.

• Brooke Patrick Nolte, 24, Shullsburg, was charged Feb. 7 with two Class A felony counts of misappropriating ID info and two Class A misdemeanor counts of fraud. Court records indicate he used another person's credit card without consent to buy $49.96 in clothing, coffee and other merchandise at Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., on Aug. 25. A warrant is issued for his arrest.



Misdemeanors

• Eulogio Hipolito Cruz, 22, jailed in Monroe, pleaded no contest Jan. 31 to revoking his probation on convictions from 2010 of hit-and-run, causing injury by driving while intoxicated and causing bodily harm by driving recklessly. He was sentenced to one year in jail. He isn't allowed Huber release privileges because he is being detained for deportation. He owes the court $18,554.42. Court records indicate he was deported to Mexico in March 2011 but returned to Monroe last July. In August, Monroe police arrested him after they found him stumbling down a sidewalk. He gave officers two false names and, in a breath test, blew a 0.20 blood-alcohol concentration, thereby revoking his probation. His original offense was in June 2010. He admitted to consuming alcohol and cocaine before crashing a red Ford SUV on Monroe's south side, hitting two occupied vehicles and one parked vehicle.

• Thomas A. McLean, 25, jailed in Monroe, pleaded no contest Jan. 31 to revoking his probation earlier in the month on convictions from 2010 of disorderly conduct and possessing an illegally obtained prescription. He was sentenced to six months in jail with Huber release privileges for work or treatment, as long as he remains alcohol- and drug-free.

• Kyrene Robin Trevino, 27, Monroe, pleaded no contest Jan. 31 to a charge of bail jumping and to revoking her deferred prosecution agreement on charges of disorderly conduct and battery. She was sentenced to two years of probation with the conditions that she seek counseling and not drink. The bail jumping charge stems from an arrest Sept. 30, when Monroe police responded to a 911 call in the 100 block of Swiss Court and found that Trevino had been drinking and had a stolen Kindle Fire in her purse.

• Nikolina J. Heimann, 37, Monroe, was granted a one-year stay of proceedings on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property stemming from an incident Nov. 29 at a residence in the 500 block of 27th Avenue, Monroe. She previously pleaded not guilty. Court records indicate she hit her husband, broke his computer monitor and was verbally abusive.

• Austin D. Flood, 17, Albany, was charged Feb. 4 with marijuana possession, bail jumping and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. Court records indicate he came to Albany Schools, 400 5th St., on Jan. 18 with two baggies of marijuana and encouraged a 14-year-old to trade marijuana with him, and in doing so, violated bond conditions on a previous charge. His initial appearance in court is Feb. 18.

• Jenny Mae Rogers, 28, McConnell, was charged Feb. 4 with criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident Nov. 7, 2011. Court records indicate she damaged the screen on a second-floor window at the Super 8 Motel, 500 6th St., Monroe, while fleeing from police. Officers reportedly found heroin paraphernalia in her motel room.



Lafayette County

Felonies


• Michael James Kirschbaum, 26, Shullsburg, pleaded on contest Jan. 23 to revoking his probation on a misdemeanor conviction of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. Court records indicate he revoked his probation by splattering blood from an arm injury all over the Platteville Hospital ER and staff and biting a Platteville police officer. A deferred prosecution on a related felony charge of substantial battery remains in effect. The charges relate to an incident in August, when he reportedly punched a 7-year-old child on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

• Kasey L. Cooper, 19, Montfort, was charged Jan. 28 with a Class I felony count of possessing marijuana with intent to deliver and two misdemeanor counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from a traffic stop two days earlier on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont. An officer reported finding marijuana, a digital scale, rolling papers and smoking devices. Her preliminary hearing is Feb. 19.



Misdemeanors

• Laura Lynn Lindert, 23, Edgerton, was charged Jan 31 with a Class A misdemeanor count of writing a worthless check on Dec. 21 in the amount of $62.38 to Gratiot Fast Shop, 10360 Bridge St. Her initial appearance in court is March 4.
