Felonies

On Wednesday:

• Timothy L. Owens, 35, Greenway, Ariz., will serve two years on probation as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement for a charge of failing to pay child support for more than 120 days, stemming from an incident that occurred in January 2007. Owens had two additional counts of failure to pay child support dismissed. If Owens complies with all conditions of the DPA the charge could be dismissed.

• Jay H. Gierhart, 24, Monroe, owes a fine of $243 as a part of a DPA for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; he also had charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and maintaining a drug trafficking place dismissed. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 17. If Gierhart complies will all conditions of the DPA the charge could be dismissed. Court records indicate State Line Area Narcotic Agents utilized an undercover officer to buy marijuana from Gierhart on July 17. On July 20, SLANT agents executed a search warrant on Gierhart's home and found a ziplock bag with 112 grams of pot as well as drug paraphernalia.

On Tuesday:

• Jacob E. Johnson, 34, Brodhead, was released after posting a $200 cash bond and signing a $4,800 signature bond with conditions that he not leave Green County or the state, not do drugs, possess drug paraphernalia or have any contact with co-defendants Kimberly Moore or Sarah Teubert. Johnson is charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping. Police reports indicate that on Friday Johnson was found in possession of drugs and police also allegedly found drugs on him after he was booked at the jail. Police pulled Johnson over for a traffic violation, and with the aid of K-9 unit Auggie, alleged controlled substances were found in the vehicle. If convicted for the maximum penalty on all counts Johnson could face up to 16 1/2 years imprisonment or $40,000 in fines or both. He has a preliminary hearing set for March 6.

• Kimberly M. Moore, 31, Brodhead, was released on a $2,000 signature bond with conditions that she not leave Green County or the state, not do drugs, possess drug paraphernalia or have any contact with co-defendants Jacob Johnson and Sarah Teubert. Moore is charged with possession of methamphetamine, narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident that occurred on Friday. The facts of this case are the same as listed above. If convicted for the maximum penalty on all counts Moore could face up to seven years imprisonment or $20,000 in fines or both She has a preliminary hearing set for March 6.

• Sarah C. Teubert, 37, Brodhead, was released on a $2,000 signature bond with conditions that she not leave Green County or the state, not do drugs, possess drug paraphernalia or have any contact with co-defendants Jacob Johnson and Kimberly Moore. Teubert is charged with possession of methamphetamine, narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia, stemming from an incident that occurred on Friday. The facts of this case are the same as listed under Jacob Johnson. If convicted for the maximum penalty on all counts, Teubert could face up to seven years imprisonment or $20,000 in fines or both. She has a preliminary hearing set for March 6.
