On Monday:

• Kasey C. Genthe, 21, Albany, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of driving while intoxicated, first offense. Genthe will have his license revoked for seven months and is ordered to undergo alcohol and other drugs assessment classes. He also had one count of causing injury by use of a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance dismissed. Police reports indicate Genthe caused a vehicle accident in the N5500 block of Wisconsin 69 when he passed out and entered the opposite lane of travel, hitting a vehicle head-on on Aug. 12. Both Genthe and the driver of the other vehicle were injured; Genthe refused medical treatment at the scene. He owes a fine of $891.50.

• Samantha J. Skoien, 21, Janesville, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of disorderly conduct; she also had one count of criminal damage to property dismissed. Skoien owes a forfeiture fine of $267.50. Court records indicate Skoien was arguing with a boyfriend on June 15 at the Sweet Minihaha Campground on County E. During the fracas, Skoien hit two different vehicles with a metal rod taken from a horseshoe pit. One vehicle had a broken mirror and both had numerous dents.

• Alexander J. Meligan, 24, Monroe, was released on a $1,000 signature bond with additional conditions that he not drink or go into bars or liquor stores. Meligan is charged with DWI and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, both second offenses, stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 25. If convicted for the maximum penalty, Meligan could face up to $1,100 in fines, up to six months in jail, have his driver's license revoked for up to 18 months and install an ignition interlock device for a period of up to three years. He has a pretrial conference set for Jan. 27.
