Michael C. Rogge, 61, Monticello, will serve one year of probation as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement passed down on Wednesday, for charges of theft and receiving or concealing stolen property. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in July of 2011. Court records indicate Rogge stole various pieces of scrap metal from area residents adding up to $10,245 worth of property taken. Rogge took the items with about four other people to sell at Behr Salvage. If he complies with all the terms of the DPA the charges could be dropped.

Gregory T. Ehrler, 44, Freeport, was found guilty Wednesday due to a no-contest plea on one count of disorderly conduct. Ehrler owes a forfeiture fine of $579. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on May 26. Police reports indicate Ehrler was being disorderly at the Sweet Mini Haha Campground on County E after friends warned him not to drive due to his inebriation.
