Misdemeanors

• Heath A. Bader, 38, Monroe, was found guilty due to a guilty plea on Thursday of resisting arrest and had counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and resisting an officer dismissed. Bader will serve six months in state prison concurrent to his current sentence for a driving while intoxicated conviction. Court records indicate that on Sept. 6, Bader was driving a SUV and went through several stop signs and exceeded speeds of 60 miles per hour after a police officer tried to pull him over for a defective headlight. Bader sped to 15th Street and then exited the vehicle and jumped a fence running through residents' yards. A passenger in the SUV said she had never met Bader prior to that night and was offered a ride home by him as she was walking along the Square. Police did not give chase to Bader after he jumped over a fence. Bader was arrested at his home on Oct. 8 for failure to appear to a court date.
