Charles C. Van Over II, age 27 of Monroe, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at his home.

He was born on June 5, 1982 in Rockford, IL, the son of Charles Van Over and Barbara (Glasgow) Neal and he graduated from Biggers & Reyno High School in 2000. He worked at Berner Cheese Co. in Dakota, IL in the shipping and packaging dept.

Charles and Amanda (Andrews) were married on June 16, 2006 in Monroe, WI.

Charles enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycle and spending time with his daughter.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda Van Over of Monroe; daughter, Savanah Van Over of Monroe; mother, Barbara Neal of Corning, Arkansas; father, Charles (Mary) Van Over of Cherry Valley, IL; maternal grandparents, Harry and Jean Glasgow of Monroe; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Van Over of Cherry Valley, IL; brother, Jacob Dalcollo of Corning, Arkansas; sisters, Nicole (Brian) Carvahlo of Rhode Island; Lindsay Van Over of FL, mother and father-in-law, Keith and Rebecca Andrews and other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th Ave., Monroe.
