Carl E. "J.R." Justham Jr., age 44, of Belmont, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2008. Carl was born on January 13, 1964 in Arizona to Carl and Leona (Lawson) Justham Sr. He was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years and met many friends over the years. He was an avid Star Trek fan and could quote you any episode from the beginning. Carl was a member of the NRA, and he loved books on tape, cars, eagles and was a proud patriot of the U.S.A.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Carl is survived by: his son, Nathaniel Justham of Panama City, FL; an uncle, Paul Justham of Phoenix, AZ; two step-children, Jessica and Jonathon Powell; close friends, Tim (Charlotte) Dubel and family of Monticello and Rick (Jeannie) Hendricks of Lancaster; friends, Rebecca Reichers and children of Belmont; and John "Gabby" and Marvetta Hayes of Monticello, GA, as well as many more special friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Gomer Lewis American Legion Post #97 at 322 North Douglas Street in Dodgeville. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
