DARLINGTON - Calendar parking restrictions took effect Friday, Nov. 1 in the city of Darlington.
Vehicles must be parked on the odd-numbered side of the streets on odd dates and on the even-numbered side of the streets on even dates. The ordinance will be enforced from midnight through 6 a.m.
First offense will result in a $10 fine; subsequent offenses result in a $20 fine. Officers will issue warnings until the first snow event. Afterward, the ordinance will be strictly enforced, regardless of existing weather conditions.
