CLARNO TOWNSHIP - Two Browntown men were cited for theft after they allegedly tried to sell stolen metal to a salvage yard just south of Monroe.
Chad D. Olson, 21, and Steven A. Steiner, 20, were arrested at Behr Salvage, N2193 Clarno Rd., according to a news release from the Green County Sheriff's Department. Deputies responded to a report of stolen items being turned in for scrap at 9:17 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
Steiner was jailed on additional charges of felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Olson was cited and released pending court.
Deputies returned the alleged stolen items to the owner.
