Bonnie M. Johnson, age 73, of Monroe, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born on April 21, 1934, the daughter of Ray and Lola (Hintzman) Broge. She was a graduate of Juda High School. Bonnie and Donald A. Johnson were married on February 25, 1953 in Monroe. She worked for the Dorman-Roth Cheese Company for many years and later worked for the Monroe Clinic Hospital.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Gary D. (Deb) and Steve A. Johnson, all of Monroe; grandsons, Jesse, Cody, Jason and Tyler Johnson; sister, Shirley Moest of Monroe. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Danny Johnson and sister, Mary Ellen Updike.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Rev. William T. Mike Heath of St. John's United Church of Christ, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established in Bonnie's memory.
