Beverly R. Bertalot, age 71 of Monroe, died on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 13, 1940 , the daughter of Durward and Gertrude (Kueng) Dunaway and was a 1957 graduate of Monroe High School. Beverly and Dale Bertalot were married on August 15, 1959 at St. John's United Church of Christ.She was employed at RR Donnelley (Moore Business Forms) for 34 years, retiring in 2001 and later worked part time for Leisure Lanes. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, an avid bowler, a junior bowling coach, member of Women of the Moose Chapter #599, and also volunteered for meals on wheels. Beverly enjoyed traveling and attending her grandchildrens events & activities.
Surviving are her husband Dale of Monroe; daughter, Darlene Bertalot of Fort Atkinson; son, Bradley (Sandi) Bertalot of Monroe; brother, Donald (Diane) Dunaway of Appleton; 4 grandchildren, Cody & Courtney Pfingsten and Sommer & Brok Bertalot. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe with Rev. Gretchen Sylvester officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave. in Monroe. A memorial fund is being established in Beverly's memory.
