Bette J. Lueck, age 76, of Fort Atkinson, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her two sons and daughters-in-law.

Bette was born on October 9, 1939 daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Hartwig.

She was educated in Monroe schools. Bette worked as the Attendance Secretary for Fort Atkinson High School. She was also a server at the Fireside Restaurant and Theater for 30 years. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ where she frequently volunteered. Bette's real passion was golf, with her crowning achievements being not just one, but two holes-in-one. After retirement, she enjoyed vacations with friends and every year she drove to Florida to spend time with friends and family.

Bette will be dearly missed by her beloved sons, Barry (Heidi) and Brady (Brenda); as well as her two grandchildren, Olivia and Cameron; sisters, Charlene of Browntown, WI and Ruth (AJ) of Leesburg, Fl.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 31 Milwaukee Ave. W, Fort Atkinson, WI. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday at the church from 12 p.m. until the time of services.

A private interment will occur this summer in Monroe.

The Dunlap Memorial Home is assisting the family.
