BURLINGTON - Two women from Green County are among the six young women who are vying for the title of Alice in Dairyland 2009 in Racine County Friday.
Peggy Sue Dierickx, 25, of Monticello, and Rebecca May Paris, 22, of rural Belleville arrived in Racine County Wednesday morning for the three-day Alice competition. The women participated in tours, product demonstrations, interviews and receptions during their stay.
Dierickx, is the daughter of Alice Carroll-Dierckx and Craig Dierickx, W3605 County Road NC.
Paris, is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Paris, W3443 Highway W.
The 2009 Alice finale event will take place 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the Burlington High School Auditorium.
The reigning Alice In Dairyland 2008 is Ashley Kay Huibregtse, 24, Town of Lyndon in Sheboygan Count.
