Anna Mae Teasdale age 89, of Monroe, Wisconsin died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born July 27, 1923 the daughter of Peter & Ellen Ann (Doyle) Francis at Shullsburg, WI and graduated from Shullsburg High School.

Anna Mae married Burdette "Jiggs" Teasdale on Aug. 23, 1945 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Shullsburg and they farmed in the Darlington area. They moved to Monroe in 1968 where Anna Mae worked at Oaktron Industries, & St. Clare Hospital until retiring in 1985, and was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church.

She was the loving, dedicated, selfless Mother of her surviving children, Bill (Kathy) Teasdale of Veneta, OR, Jim (Paula) Teasdale of Freeport, IL, John (Sharon) Teasdale of Monticello, WI, Mary Ellen (John) Symons of Gratiot, WI, Pat (Patricia) Teasdale of Monroe, WI, Richard Teasdale of Thomson, GA, Ann Marie (Jeff) Wiegel of Monroe, WI, & Mike (Julie) Teasdale of Monroe, WI; 14 grandchildren; and 24-1/2 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Parents; Husband in 1995; brothers, Clarence "Pete" Francis, Johnny Francis, & Elmer Francis; and sisters, Mary Florence Cherry, Loretta DeRocher, Marcella Lersch, & Eleanor Martindale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Parish at St. Victor Church in Monroe with Fr. Larry Bakke Celebrating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington, WI.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe, WI with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m.

A memorial fund is being established in Anna Mae's memory.
