Amanda Conerty, age 93, of Monroe, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on January 16, 1922 in Daleyville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ole and Hattie (Hanson) Peterson.
She was very artistic in designing Floral and Craft Projects.
Amanda loved to dance, play cards and spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, husband, Ken Conerty; step-children, Mike, John, and Patsy; sisters, Helga Hefty, Hilda Gooch, Bertha Stauffer, Elizabeth Miller; brothers, Tom, Alfred, Leo, Bernard and William Peterson; and a special friend, Paul.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 16, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Dr., and N. 18th Ave., in Monroe, with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, March 16th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Amanda's memory.
