Alberta M. Harder, age 83 of Monroe, died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on March 13, 1931 in Monroe, the daughter of Rudy and Blanch (Welton) Kubly. She married Delbert Harder on May 24, 1975 in Monticello. Alberta worked at Advance Transformer for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, watching John Wayne movies, and loved to watch her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert of Monroe; 4 children: John (Glenda) Heimann of Juda, Robert (Cheri) Foulker of Monroe, Jerry Foulker of Monroe, and Sherri (Todd) Schindler of Monroe; 2 step-children: Tami Powell of Beloit, and James Harder Sr. of Huntington, IN; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sandy Paulson; a brother, Allen Kubly, and a sister, Shirley Kubly; a step-son, Richard Harder.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 13, 2015 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
