HAZEL GREEN - Albert G. Jegerlehner, 82, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Monday, October 26, 2009 at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009, at the Hazel Green United Methodist Church in Hazel Green, with Pastor Ed Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Hazel Green Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may also call at the church Friday morning from 9-10 a.m. before the service.
Albert was born in Monroe on June 5, 1927, the son of Albert and Ida E. (Bachler) Jegerlehner. He worked as a cheese maker at many area cheese factories. Albert retired from the Dubuque Packing Company in 1981.
Albert graduated from Argyle High School. He married Mary Lucille Andrews on December 27, 1947. He enjoyed traveling with Mary, doing yard work and being a handyman around the house.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; three sons, Don (Peggy), of Arena, WI, Jim (Linda), of Dubuque, David (finacee Jan Kaufman), of Hazel Green; three grandchildren, Lynn, Matt and Ann; and one sister, Gertrude (Roger) Voelkli, of Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
