Agnes Withee, age 100 of Brodhead, went home to her Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Woods Crossing in Brodhead. She was born June 2, 1912 in Seneca, Wisconsin, the daughter of Abel and Helga (Lindelund) Aspenson. She graduated from Seneca High School. Agnes married Lyall Withee Sr. on November 20, 1934 in Galena, Illinois. Agnes and her husband ran the Withee Nursing Homes in Brodhead for many years, retiring in 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family in northern Wisconsin at their cabin.

She is survived by 4 sons: Orris (Kandi) Withee of Brodhead, Lyall (Judy) Withee Jr of Brodhead, Gary (Nanci) Withee of Mesa, AZ, and Ronald (Jo) Withee of Brodhead; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Davis of DeKalb, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers, 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at The Gospel Hall in Brodhead, with Paul Aspenson and Chris Kneubuehl officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. A visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the Gospel Hall. Everson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
