Aaron E. Norder, known as Buster to those who loved him, died Nov. 16, 2013 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Aaron was born March 8, 1930 to Esther Wachendorf Norder and Orville E. Norder. He attended Monroe Schools. In the later 1940's, he took on a lot of responsibility for his many younger siblings when his father became disabled. Aaron served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and sent his pay home to help his mother. After his military service he married Alberta Stuessy. Together they had three children. Alberta died in 1994. Later he married Cora Golden, who he met when wintering and riding his bicycle thru the South, Cora died in 2001. Upon his retirement from Moore Business Forms (RR Donnelley) Aaron built a quaint home in the woods North of Monroe, where he lived in the summers. In the colder seasons he lived in Florida and biked throughout the Southeastern states.

Aaron is survived by a daughter, Susan Joy Norder of Monroe; a son, Daniel S. Norder of Knoxville, TN; sisters: Vinnie Norder of Blanchardville, Orvilla (Walter) Gales of Chicago, IL, Carol (Virgil) Helmeid of Brodhead, WI, and Evelyn Terrill of Mineral Point, WI; brothers: Clayton (Janet) Norder of North Fort Myers, FL and Nathan (Connie) Norder of Browntown, WI. He was further survived by sisters-in-law: Beverly Norder, Lorna Mitchell, Rheta Nipple, Leatha Whipple, Dorothy Gessert and Della Greenberg, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Norder on Christmas Eve 2012, wife Alberta, wife Cora, parents, sister, Peggy Myers; brothers: Orville Jr., Gerald, in Korea, and infant Rueben; as well as sisters-in-law, Elmira Smith, Loretta Cox, Arlene Biergener and Janette Paulson and Brothers-in-law, Delmar Stuessy and Walter Stuessy.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home, Monroe. A visitation will be held Wednesday, from 10:00 am, until the time of service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe.
