DARLINGTON — A South Wayne man was sentenced on April 21 to two years in prison and three years of extended supervision for his involvement in a 2020 triple overdose in South Wayne.

Samuel M. Krebs, 33, pled guilty a Class F felony delivering heroin and a Class I felony maintaining a drug dwelling, both carrying modifiers as repeater. Two additional charges of delivering heroin and two counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read-in.

Lafayette County dispatch received a 911 call for three adults unresponsive and not breathing at a home in South Wayne in the early morning hours of April 29, 2020.

The three individuals were revived and told police that Krebs had sold them each a “bump” of heroin.

Krebs denied the accusation that he had, sold, or consumed any drugs.
