DARLINGTON — Jiachen Li, 25, North York, Ontario, was cited for speeding at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, on Galena Street.

●  A complaint about a carful of teenagers driving around the city egging people and cars resulted in citations at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. Preston Banfield, 18, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct and throwing missiles. Tucker Lange, 19, Darlington, and Colby Argall, 18, South Wayne, were also cited for disorderly conduct.

●  Mark L. Schlappi, 53, Darlington, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 6:27 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, following a welfare check at a business on Wis. 23.

On Monday, Sept. 23:

●  Stephanie R. Bishell, 37, Darlington, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance at about 8:20 a.m. following a traffic crash investigation on Clay Street.

●  Cody C. Dorr, 25, Belmont, was arrested for a probation violation at about 9:20 a.m. following police contact at a business on County K. He was jailed pending court.

●  Robin D. Fries, 63, Darlington, was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for criminal charges related to court order violations at about 10:05 a.m. following an investigation at a residence on Cornelia Street. He was released pending court.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24:

●  Taurino Trujillo-Vega, 27, Darlington, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping at about 12:35 p.m. following a disturbance at a residence on Wells Street. He was released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Monday, Sept. 23:

●  Cody L. Faith, 20, Monroe, was arrested on a Department of Corrections probation hold at 5:13 p.m. at the Green County Justice Center in Monroe. He was jailed.

●  Eddie S. Bennett, 42, Darlington, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. at a residence in the W3300 block of County SS, Town of Sylvester, on a body-only warrant issued through the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office. He was jailed.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25:

●  Teresa Johnson, 51, Albany, was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone at 7:57 p.m. in the W3200 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester.

●  Karly Ready, 19, New Glarus, was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone at 8:17 p.m. in the W3200 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester.

●  Abby Geissbuhler, 27, McFarland, was cited for driving without a valid a license (expired within three months) and warned for speeding at 8:34 p.m. in the W3200 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Tina Y. Dammen, 30, Argyle, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and a first-offense charge of operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration greater than or equal to 0.15% following a traffic stop at the intersection of West 7th Street and 6th Avenue West at 5:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20. She was released to a responsible party pending court.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Sept. 13:

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police with a traffic stop at 10:57 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  An intoxicated subject was reported at 11:51 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

On Saturday, Sept. 14:

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police with a traffic stop at 1:32 a.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  Tyler M. Schmidt, 18, Muskego, was cited for speeding at 2:02 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 2:44 a.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a citizen assist at 4:30 a.m. on Fayette Road in Darlington.

●  Gerard A. McKibben, 30, Mineral Point, and Christen J. Young, 28, Darlington, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 5:52 a.m. on Galena Street in Darlington. They were taken to the jail, where they were booked and later released after posting bond.

●  Theft was reported at 9:05 a.m. on West Main Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 3:01 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  A disabled vehicle in the water was reported at 3:29 p.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington. The Darlington Fire Department assisted on scene.

●  A parking problem was reported at 7:25 p.m. on East Main Street in Shullsburg.

●  Three Darlington residents were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 8:57 p.m. to a disorderly conduct complaint on Main Street in Darlington. Dean T. Douglas, 49, Tyler R. Smith, 23, and Valerie M. Smith, 42, were transported to the jail, where they were booked and later released to responsible parties.

●  A noise complaint was reported at 10:33 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Cory A. Ulseth, 25, West Bend, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to assist Belmont police at 11:16 p.m. on Market Street in Belmont. Ulseth was transported to the jail, where he was booked, posted bond and was released to a responsible party.

On Sunday, Sept. 15:

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:12 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 2 a.m. on South Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 2:38 a.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:05 a.m. on Pond View Lane, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 8:06 a.m. on Whiteside Road, Town of Wiota.

●  Robert S. Livingston, 55, Columbia, Missouri, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone after a deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 8:57 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:36 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  Jeffrey S. J. Bennett, 36, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 12:27 p.m. on County I, Town of Elk Grove. He was booked at the jail and later released. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 1:54 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 2:03 p.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 3:30 p.m. on Swanson Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:41 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a disorderly conduct incident at 10:16 p.m. on East Louisa Street in Darlington.

On Monday, Sept. 16:

●  Jannie M. Armbrust, 39, Medford, was transported at 5:39 a.m. from the Taylor County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail for an outstanding warrant. She remained in custody.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 7:16 a.m. on County E, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Laura L. Gundlach, 51, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no  vehicle insurance at 7:39 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:35 a.m. on Cisserville Road, Town of Wiota.

●  Criminal damage to property was reported at 10:07 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  Clinton M. LaDow, 18, Gratiot, was cited for loud exhaust and no proof of vehicle insurance at 11:23 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

●  A deputy responded at 2:05 p.m. to Ervin Johnson Drive, Town of Darlington, to assist the Darlington Police Department.

●  A deputy responded at 2:21 p.m. to North Street in Argyle to assist the Monticello Police Department with a juvenile problem.

●  Brandon J. Murray, 38, South Wayne, was arrested for a probation and parole violation at 3:54 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington. He was jailed.

●  A deputy came across a suspicious vehicle at 8:45 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont. Platteville police assisted on scene.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 8:51 p.m. on Ferndale Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 9:18 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Harassment was reported at 9:21 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 10:19 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17:

●  Deputies responded at 3:49 a.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg for a commercial alarm.

●  John M. Crisman, 59, Mount Horeb, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated and driving without proof of vehicle insurance after a deputy responded at 8:12 a.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Lake Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 8:47 a.m. on County E, Town of Darlington. Shullsburg police assisted a deputy in the response.

●  A deputy responded at 10:44 a.m. to Wis. 23 in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a traffic complaint of an erratic driver. 

●  An ATV complaint was reported at 1:59 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  A possible hit-and-run was reported at 3:57 p.m. on Jenkynsville Road, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 5:03 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Harassment was reported at 5:41 p.m. on East Liberty Street in Belmont.

●  An ATV complaint was reported at 7:43 p.m. on West Blackstone Street in Shullsburg.

●  Gina N. Leahy, 43, Gratiot, was cited for failure to install an ignition interlock device and arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 8:11 p.m. on Apple Road, Town of Shullsburg. She was transported to the jail, where she was booked and released.

On Wednesday, Sept. 18:

●  A deputy came upon livestock on the roadway at 6:07 a.m. on Crabtree Corner Road, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 8:07 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A traffic hazard of a steel pipe that rolled off of a semi was reported at 8:33 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  Harassment was reported at 8:38 a.m. on High Street, Town of New Diggings.

●  Lori D. Swalley, 51, Galena, Illinois, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 12:50 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  Frederick M. Kurtin, 76, Greenfield, was cited for speeding at 3:04 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Jared J. Heim, 20, Shullsburg, was arrested on charges of being armed with a firearm while intoxicated, felony possession of THC and felony bail jumping after a deputy conducted a traffic stop at 11:43 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington. Heim was also cited for driving with a suspended license, failure to stop at a stop sign, no vehicle insurance and operating with a restricted controlled substance in his blood. He was jailed. Darlington police assisted on scene.

On Thursday, Sept. 19:

●  Deputies assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 12:36 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

●  William P. Blair III, 28, Apple River, Illinois, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 4:52 a.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded at 6:31 a.m. to County H, Town of Benton.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:02 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Enrique C. Sifuentes, 53, Jenks, Oklahoma, was cited for speeding at 2:24 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  Kara E. Kress, 29, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 3:36 p.m. on East Liberty Street in Belmont.

●  Kelton P. Prine, 27, Cuba City, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 4:06 p.m. on St. Rose Road, Town of Benton.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:54 p.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.
