BRODHEAD — On Oct 4:
● A package arrived that the resident did not order was reported at 5:09 p.m. in the 700 block of 4th Street.
On Oct. 6:
● A dog at large was reported at 3:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.
● Two dogs at large were reported at 3:34 p.m. in the 600 block of East 6th Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 7:33 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● A Brodhead man, 18, was cited for damage to property at 8:53 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.
On Oct. 8:
● A dog at large was reported at 8:34 a.m. in the 100 block of 1st Street. The dog was not located.
● Harassment was reported at 4:35 p.m. in the 2200 block of 1st Street. This remains under investigation.
● A dog at large was reported at 12:02 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. A warning was issued.
For the week of Oct. 10 to Oct. 16, police performed 103 security checks, 29 citizen assists, eight assists of other agencies, nine follow-ups to incidents, 15 vehicle registration and 10 traffic stops; responded to 38 calls for service and reported eight EMS calls, nine 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and one fire call. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
● A dog at large was reported at 6:08 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 1200 block of 16th Street. A warning was issued.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 1:43 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 1900 block of West 6th Avenue.
On Oct. 14:
● A vehicle parked in lot after hours was reported at 2:59 a.m. in the 2600 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was found the car belonged to an employee.
● A Brodhead man, 18, was cited for disorderly conduct at 11:50 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.
● Possible gun shots were reported at 7:53 p.m. in the 100 block of Cedar Avenue. It was found to be a firecracker.
On Oct. 15:
● A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:36 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
● Police responded for a siren at 7:09 p.m. in the 100 block of 6th Street. It was found to be a vacuum cleaner.
On Oct. 16:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 5:42 a.m. in the N100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police found nothing suspicious.
● Two dogs missing were reported at 7:37 p.m. in the 700 block of 13th Street. Officers were unable to locate the dogs.
Monroe Police
MONROE — On Oct. 3:
● Bo W. Bahler, 18, Madison, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 2:18 a.m. Oct. 3 in the 800 block of 18th Avenue. He was also cited for a defective tail light and non-registration of auto. He was released.
● No injuries were reported from a hit-and-run accident at 2:58 a.m. Oct. 3 in the 400 block of 22nd Avenue. Jose Guadalupe Garcia Martinez, 22, Monroe, was northbound when he deviated left of center and hit a southbound vehicle operated by Jayden E. Johnson, 18, New Glarus. Garcia Martinez fled and was followed by Johnson to the 2000 block of Edgeview Drive to await police arrival. Garcia Martinez was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration greater than .15%, unsafe lane deviation, hit-and-run to an attended vehicle, driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance. He was released to a responsible party.
● Ricky B. Lenning, 48, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Boone County Illinois Sheriff’s Office for a charge of possession of cocaine at 9 p.m. Sept. 27 on 10 1/2 Street and 1st Avenue. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting bond.
On Oct. 4:
● Matthew P. Baumgartner, 30, Monroe, was arrested on two warrants issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to pay fine from prior cases at 11:35 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 300 block of 8th Street. He was also arrested on a warrant by Green County Sheriff’s Office for failure to pay fine from a prior case. He was jailed.
● Travis J. Runke, 49, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 12:51 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 100 block of West 8th Street. He was jailed.
● Jamie A. B. Baxter, 37, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by Green County Sheriff’s Office for failure to pay child support at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 700 block of 12th Avenue. Baxter was jailed.
● Mark A. Zakula, 68, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 1:04 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 1600 block of 11th Street. He was jailed.
● Austin M. Coulthard, 19, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping at 3:33 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 1800 block of 17th Avenue. He was also cited for failure to stop for a stop sign and driving without a license. He was released to a responsible party. A passenger, Trent J. Baker, 18, Monroe, was cited for possession of THC, underage possession/consumption of alcohol and bail jumping. A second passenger, Marcus B. Wenger, 19, Monroe, was also cited for underage possession/consumption of alcohol.
● Bruce M. Trumble, 30, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating under the influence at 12:31 a.m. Oct. 10 on 8th Street and 3rd Avenue. He was also cited for failure to follow traffic light and no vehicle insurance. He was released to a responsible party.
On Oct 11:
● Angel Casanova, 53, Beloit, was cited for driving without a valid license, second offense within three years, at 5:30 a.m. Oct. 11 in the W1400 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove.
● Chavis R. Segner, 26, Freeport, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and warned for two traffic violations at 11:41 p.m. Oct. 13 in the N700 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — On Sept 28:
● Caleb McIntosh, 17, was arrested on a charge of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 28 in the N4700 block of Gutzmer Road, Town of Monroe. He was jailed.
On Sept. 29:
● Trenton A. Lyle, 38, Evansville, was cited for driving after revocation at 4:29 p.m. Sept. 29 in the W300 block of Dunphy Road, Town of Albany.
On Sept. 30:
● Nathan C. Siegel, 29, New Glarus, was arrested on a warrant issued by Monroe Police Department at 9:58 a.m. at a residence in the N9200 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. He was jailed.
● Abby L. Jensen, 34, Brooklyn, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related battery and disorderly conduct at 3:57 p.m. at a residence in the N9500 block of Legler Road, Town of Brooklyn. She was released after posting bond.
● Deputies assisted Monticello Police Department with a disturbance at 6:44 p.m. Oct. 2 at a residence in the 600 block of East Lake Avenue in Monticello. As a result, Jonathan Detejada, 27, Monticello, was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping. He was jailed.
On Oct. 6:
● Christopher W. Denning, 31, Benton, was arrested on a probation violation at 9:43 a.m. Oct. 6 at the Green County Justice Center in Monroe. He was jailed.
On Oct. 9:
● Chase A.R. Sloniker, 20, Evansville, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 12:31 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 200 block of South Cincinnati Street in Albany. He was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol. He was jailed.
On Oct. 10:
● A physical disturbance was reported at 3:26 a.m. in the W6300 block of Dividing Ridge Road, Town of Washington. Nathan J. Hudson, 39, Monticello, fled prior to police arrival. He was located in South Wayne and arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery, false imprisonment and strangulation. He was jailed.
● A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:26 a.m. in the 300 block of South Mechanic Street in Albany. Bryan D. Morell, 34, Albany, fled prior to deputies’ arrival. He was located by a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Warden. He was arrested on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. He was jailed.
On Oct. 17:
● Selena M. Collins, 21, Monroe, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license, second offense withing three years, at 10:13 a.m. Oct. 17 in the W3000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Rojelio Jr Madrigal, 42, Weslaco, Texas, was arrested on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct at 9:23 p.m. Sept. 25 on East Minerva Street.
● Juan Carlos Martiniz, 33, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 26 on County F. He was also cited for possession of open intoxicants in vehicle, obstructing an officer, speeding, driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance.
● Claudia L. Hernandez, 22, Darlington, was cited for trespassing and harassment on Sept. 27 as a result from a disturbance on East Catherine Street on a prior date.
● Officers responded for a medical emergency at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 29 at a residence on County K in Darlington. A 41-year-old Darlington man was unresponsive from a suspected drug overdose. Officers performed lifesaving measures including administering NARCAN. He was revived and transported by Lafayette County EMS to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County.
● Nancy Carmona-Salas, 34, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping and a body only warrant at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 4 on Wells Street as a result of a welfare check.
● Rojelio Madrigal, 42, Weslaco, Texas, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping at 11 p.m. Oct. 8 at a residence on Minerva Street.
● Erlin Soto-Salgado, 34, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 10:18 p.m. Oct 9 on Galena Street as a result of a reported hit-and-run. He was also cited for driving without a valid license, no vehicle insurance and hit-and-run.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON — On Sept. 27:
● Disorderly conduct was reported at 12:42 a.m. on Grandview Avenue in Argyle.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:21 a.m. on Jefferson Road, Town of Benton.
● A deputy assisted Darlington Police Department with a two-vehicle accident at 7:04 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington and at 7:23 a.m. on Wells Street in Darlington.
● A deputy responded to keep the peace at 9:03 a.m. on Grandview Avenue in Argyle.
● Theft was reported at 9:06 a.m. on Breniger Lane, Town of Darlington.
● A juvenile problem was reported at 10:48 a.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:44 p.m. on County H, Town of Benton.
● Muhammad Z. Tariq, 23, Madison, was cited for speeding at 9:51 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted.
On Sept. 28:
● Daniel J. Ubersox, 36, Blanchardville, was cited for speeding at 3:18 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:40 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove and at 1:27 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.
● Michael J. Feddersen, 56, West Union, Iowa, was transported for Dubuque County Jail to Lafayette County Jail on a warrant at 9:29 a.m. He was released on a cash bond.
● Fabian S. Alonzo, 27, Chicago, Illinois, was transported from Dubuque County Jail to Lafayette County Jail on a warrant at 9:29 a.m. He was jailed.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:45 a.m. on County N, Town of Blanchard. Blanchardville police assisted.
● Theft was reported at 3:54 p.m. on Sunny Lane, Town of Belmont.
