Albany Police 

ALBANY — A juvenile was cited Thursday, Oct. 31, for truancy.

On Saturday, Nov. 2:

●  Elizabeth A. Broshous, 24, Albany, was arrested for a probation violation and on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.

●  Nicholas D. Templeton, 24, Evansville, was cited for unsafe cutting in while passing, unreasonable and imprudent speed and unnecessary acceleration.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2, police performed 27 security checks, 43 citizen assists, 13 assists of other agencies, five follow-ups to incidents and 19 vehicle registrations; responded to 13 calls for service, six EMS calls, one fire call and 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made seven traffic stops. No mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Monday, Oct. 28:

●  A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:58 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue. A Brodhead man, 24, was referred to the Green County District Attorney for possible disorderly conduct charges.

●  A person causing a disturbance at a residence was reported at 1:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 6th Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A Brodhead woman, 26, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct at 9:04 p.m. in the 1100 block of 11th Street.

On Tuesday, Oct. 29:

●  Two Brodhead juveniles were cited for possession of vaping materials at 9:06 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

●  A Brodhead woman, 32, was cited for issuance of worthless checks at 11:59 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30:

●  A vehicle vs. deer crash was reported at 5 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Thursday, Oct. 31:

●  A Brodhead man, 41, was arrested on a Green County warrant at 2:50 a.m. in the 1300 block of East 4th Avenue.

●  A dog at large was reported at 6:38 a.m. in the 1800 block of East 4th Avenue. The dog owner was warned.

●  A 16-year-old male was cited for driving too fast for conditions at 7:50 a.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street following a traffic crash.

On Friday, Nov. 1:

●  A parking complaint of a vehicle that had not been moved was reported at 8:25 a.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact, and the vehicle was moved.

●  A traffic hazard of a school bus that broke down was reported at 8:25 a.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

●  Police responded to check welfare at 4:33 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. Contact was made, and the residents were fine.

On Saturday, Nov. 2:

●  Suspicious noises in the area of the 100 block of Juniper Avenue were reported at 9:23 p.m. The source of the noise was not located.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Thursday, Oct. 31:

●  Richard C. Peterson, 59, Monroe, was arrested at 8:33 p.m. in the 1100 block of 10th Street on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for three counts of issuing worthless checks. He was jailed pending court.

●  Robert J. Witt Jr., 45, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic violence laws after officers responded at 9:25 p.m. to a domestic disturbance in the 2100 block of 11th Street. Witt was cited for possessing THC and drug paraphernalia. He was later released, pending court, after posting bail.

On Saturday, Nov. 2:

●  Moises Laza Cruz, 42, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after officers responded at 7:19 p.m. to the 1000 block of 8th Street for a report of a vehicle that ran into curbs and a No Parking sign. Laza Cruz was also arrested on a third-offense charge of driving without a valid license. He was released to a responsible party.

On Sunday, Nov. 3:

●  Justin D. Nyman, 27, Monroe, was taken into custody for a probation violation after officers were requested at 1:46 a.m. in the 1700 block of 16th Street for a person who was behaving abnormally. Nyman was transported to jail and turned over to jail staff without incident.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Steven A. Steiner, 26, Browntown, was arrested at a residence in the 100 block of West South Street in Browntown at about 11:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

●  Zachariah C. L. Pizano, 21, Monroe, turned himself in at the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant issued for his arrest. He was jailed.

●  Deputies and Brooklyn EMS responded at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, to a residence in the W900 block of Yarwood Road, Town of Brooklyn, for a report of a fight between two people. An investigation identified the offender as Ashley W. Doty, 34. Doty was charged with criminal counts of disorderly conduct and battery and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

●  Christopher C. Murray, 36, Brodhead, was arrested on a Green County warrant at 6:47 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in the 900 block of East 3rd Avenue. He was later released after bond was posted.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Oct. 22:

●  Harassment was reported at 8:13 a.m. on Main Street in Blanchardville.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:27 a.m. on Ballard Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A noise complaint was reported at 4:06 p.m. on Jenkins Lane, Town of Belmont.

●  Rodimiro Gutierrez-Santacruz, 28, Darlington, was arrested in Iowa County on Lafayette County warrants and transferred at 4:54 p.m. to the custody of a Lafayette County deputy. Gutierrez-Santacruz was transported to the jail, where he posted bond and was released.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 5:11 p.m. on South Sidney Street in Shullsburg.

●  Theft was reported at 5:24 p.m. on Crabtree Corner Road, Town of Benton.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:25 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:33 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:29 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 11:49 p.m. on 1st Street in Benton. Cuba City police assisted on scene.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23:

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 12:07 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Harassment was reported at 1:37 p.m. on Lacey Road, Town of Wayne.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:14 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 6:09 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

●  Madison R. Pauly, 18, Darlington, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 11:17 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 9:31 a.m. on Jericho Road, Town of Belmont.

●  An animal bite was reported at 3:46 p.m. on Palmer Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 4:12 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 5:45 p.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

●  Logan R. Morgan, 20, Seymour, was cited for transporting intoxicants in a motor vehicle as an underage person at 5:49 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:31 p.m. on Mineral Street, Town of Wiota.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 7:12 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A residential alarm was reported at 9:10 p.m. on Hermanson Lane in Blanchardville.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 5:41 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Theft was reported at 5:43 p.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

●  Mariana Villa-Garcia, 33, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license, third offense, following a traffic stop at 6:46 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. She was booked at the jail and later released.

On Saturday, Oct. 26:

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a 911 misdial at 4:03 a.m. on East Ann Street in Darlington.

●  Jim M. Vance, 42, Plover, was cited for speeding at 5:34 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded at 11:24 a.m. to South Judgement Street in Shullsburg to provide traffic control.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 12:52 p.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 9:40 p.m. on Holland Road, Town of Seymour.

On Sunday, Oct. 27:

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with an ATV violation at 1:03 a.m. on Division Street in Darlington.

●  Deputies responded at 3:09 a.m. to West Main Street in Shullsburg for an intoxicated person.

●  A deputy cam upon an injured deer on the roadway at 5:15 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  An animal problem was reported at 6:38 a.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Sarah E. Hill, 39, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 8:29 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Jonathon M. Reitinger, 30, Round Lake Heights, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 8:56 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  An injured animal was reported at 10:06 a.m. on Search Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  Salvador Alonso-Ortiz, 33, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 3:17 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 4:19 p.m. on Lake Joy Lane, Town of Belmont.

●  An injured animal was reported at 5:44 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 6:22 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:37 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Nigil C. Gregersen, 39, Benton, was arrested and jailed on charges of domestic abuse-related battery, strangulation, disorderly conduct, making threats to injure and felony eluding after deputies responded at 6:53 p.m. to High Street, Town of New Diggings, for a harassment complaint. He was also taken into custody on a probation warrant. Cuba City police assisted on scene.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:49 p.m. on South Splinter Street in Cuba City.

On Monday, Oct. 28:

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 8:05 a.m. on County J in Benton.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 8:29 a.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  Deputies responded at 3:42 p.m. to Hazel Street in Benton to assist a citizen.

On Tuesday, Oct. 29:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 2:33 a.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:41 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:29 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot; at 7:32 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette; and at 9:55 p.m. on English Hollow Road, Town of Fayette.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:32 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  Deputies responded to assist with traffic control at 8:22 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  An animal problem was reported at 9:11 a.m. on Ollie Bell Road, Town of Benton.
