Monroe Police 

MONROE — Alexandra M. Aguilar-Chambers, 19, Monroe, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol, and Derek J. Rose Jr., 25, Monroe, was cited for contributing to underage drinking at 12:41 a.m. Friday, May 3, in conjunction with an investigation into suspicious activity observed by the management of a business in the 1300 block of 17th Street.

●  Thomas C. Ekena, 49, Monroe, was arrested on charges of trespassing and criminal damage to property after officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of 11th Street at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 4, for a report of an unwanted person attempting to gain entry. Ekena was also arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant for a probation violation. He was jailed pending court.

●  Mark J. Allen, 60, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a stop for a traffic violation in the 800 block of 6th Street at 1:19 a.m. Sunday, May 5. He was also cited for possession of marijuana. He was able to post the required bail and was released pending court.

●  Dennis E. Beutel, 48, Monroe, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and felony bail jumping after officers were called to check on an intoxicated person in the 600 block of 8th Avenue at 6:25 p.m. Monday, May 6. Officers found Beutel had been drinking, in violation of court-ordered bail conditions prohibiting alcohol consumption. Beutel was also held on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant for a probation violation. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — James R. Schmitz, 48, Albany, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash in the W600 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany, at 1:01 a.m. Monday, May 6. He was eastbound when he swerved to avoid a deer. His vehicle went off the north side of the road, into the ditch and collided with a house. No injuries or significant damage to the house was reported. The vehicle was towed. Schmitz was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

●  Jamie L. Splinter, 33, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at the Green County Justice Center in Monroe at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday, May 8. An investigation revealed Splinter was in violation of a no-contact order issued through Rock County. He was turned over to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, April 23:

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 1:20 p.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:05 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded at 7:37 p.m. to Ohio Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a disorderly conduct case.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 9:14 p.m. on Whaley Court in Benton.

●  An animal problem was reported at 11:17 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

On Wednesday, April 24:

●  Ray G. Caneda-Rivas, 20, Freeport, was cited for speeding, no vehicle insurance and driving without a valid license at 4:55 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Tina M. Johnson, 36, Platteville, was arrested on a warrant at 6:15 a.m. and transported from the Iowa County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail.

●  A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle at 7:51 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 8:20 a.m. on County D, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 8:54 a.m. on South Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 9:37 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A jackknifed semi in the roadway was reported at 10:18 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard.

●  Livestock in the roadway was reported at 12:43 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont.

●  A deputy responded at 12:47 p.m. to East Catherine Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a civil dispute.

●  Nicole J. Bleiler, 36, South Wayne, was cited for failure to stop for a school bus and not having vehicle insurance after a deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 2:21 p.m. of a vehicle that passed a school bus while its lights were activated on East Center Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 5:38 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 6:02 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

●  Michela M. Kastner, 20, Browntown, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:20 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 10:54 p.m. on Monroe Street in Argyle. Argyle EMS and the Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted deputies on scene.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:06 a.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Wiota.

●  Timothy J. Koster, 41, East Dubuque, Illinois, was arrested on a warrant and transported at 12:30 p.m. from Fox Lake Correctional Institution in Dodge County to the Lafayette County Jail.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 2:06 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A theft was reported at 2:15 p.m. on County M, Town of Darlington.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 4:35 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.
