Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, March 2:

●  Blake A. Herman, 19, Darlington, was arrested on charges of violating the Absolute Sobriety law and driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop at about 12:05 a.m. on East Alice Street. He was also cited for underage alcohol consumption (second offense). He was jailed on a probation hold.

●  Josue A. Valazquez-Grajales, 25, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at about 3:25 a.m. on East Mary Street.

●  Roy D. Runkle, 45, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance at about 12:45 p.m. on Spring Street. 

●  Julio Sanchez-Ochoa, 41, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance at about 3:50 p.m. on Galena Street.

On Wednesday, March 6:

●  Ericka J. Chavez, 28, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at about 8 a.m. on Galena Street. She was also arrested on a Lafayette County warrant. She posted bond and was released pending court.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Tuesday, March 5:

●  Courtney J. Jackson, 22, Monroe, was arrested on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant for a probation violation and on a felony charge of knowingly fleeing an officer after police tried to stop her vehicle at 12:14 a.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69. Jackson failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. She continued driving and increased her speed just south of the Monroe city limits on Wis. 69, so Green County deputies employed a tire-deflation device on her vehicle. The vehicle stopped near Wis. 69 at Advance Road, but Jackson still refused to get out of the vehicle. After phone negotiations failed and several minutes had passed, an officer broke out a window on the vehicle and gained entry. Jackson was taken into custody and jailed pending court. She is also wanted by Stoughton police for criminal offenses there.

●  Officers were called at 3:43 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries in the 2500 block of 16th Avenue. A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Browntown girl struck a legally parked vehicle occupied by a 38-year-old Monroe man. The two parties exchanged information, but the 16-year-old left hurriedly, prompting the man to call police. Officers located her at her residence. She was cited for inattentive driving and driving without a valid license, then released to a parent pending court.


Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — On Monday, March 4:

●  Jeremy A. Bolin, 24, Madison, was arrested on a warrant following a traffic stop at 4:34 p.m. in the N9500 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. He was jailed pending bond or court.

●  Stephen W. Eldred, 67, Monticello, was arrested on a first-offense, drug-related charge of operating while under the influence after deputies responded to a traffic complaint at 10:59 p.m. at the intersection of County F and River Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. Eldred was also cited for illegal parking or standing in the roadway. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

On Wednesday, March 6:

●  Braydon J. Collins, 23, New Glarus, was cited for driving without a license (second offense within three years) at 4:44 a.m. in the N4500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.

●  Two people were arrested after deputies responded to a reported battery at 5:42 a.m. in the 1200 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus. Erik J. Hedberg, 45, St. Croix Falls, was arrested on two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, as well as charges of criminal trespass to a dwelling, criminal damage to property and a probation hold. He was jailed. Patricia C. Copus, 46, McFarland, was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant and held at the jail.

●  Rebekah A. Bak, 23, Monticello, was cited for driving with a revoked license, with the revocation due to an alcohol- or drug-related incident, after deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at 3:32 p.m. in the W5100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Feb. 28:

●  An abandoned vehicle was reported at 9:19 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 10:11 a.m. on North State Street in Argyle.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:36 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  Domestic abuse was reported at 6:01 p.m. on East Hill Street in Blanchardville.

●  An unsecured premise was reported at 7:20 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 7:47 p.m. on Center Drive Road, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Jennifer L. Pina, 41, Mineral Point, was arrested on warrants at 8:06 p.m. and and jailed.

●  Erica M. Harris, 32, Mineral Point, was arrested on warrants at 8:52 p.m. and transported to the jail, where she posted bond.

●  Tabitha R. Raisbeck, 29, Hazel Green, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 11:27 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

On Friday, March 1:

●  Scott E. Walton, 38, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 8:06 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  An animal problem was reported at 10:53 a.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 1:24 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 5:39 p.m. on Wis. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  Brent J. Nie, 32, Missouri Valley, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 8:49 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  An animal problem was reported at 11:53 p.m. on East Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

On Saturday, March 2:

●  Shawn M. Ryan, 36, Shullsburg, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. for a restraining order violation. He was jailed.

●  An assault was reported at 3:03 a.m. on South Iowa Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 9:04 a.m. on Dawn Vista Drive in Belmont.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 9:38 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 10:07 a.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:22 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4 p.m. on County D, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:32 p.m. on School Street in Blanchardville.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 5:40 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Steven L. Winters, 31, Darlington, was arrested on a warrant at 7:42 p.m. and transported to the jail, where he posted bond.

●  Deserie C. Holst, 28, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. on warrants. She was jailed.

On Sunday, March 3:

●  Wyatt H. Redfearn, 17, Cuba City, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and a violation of the graduated driver’s license passenger restriction at 1:30 a.m. on County H, Town of Benton.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:14 a.m. on County G, Town of Fayette.

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 12:23 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:08 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Rose A. Voigts, 33, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a deputy responded for a welfare check at 7:08 p.m. on Market Street in Belmont. She was brought to the jail, where she posted bond and was released to a responsible party.

On Monday, March 4:

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 7:45 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Deputies assisted the Darlington Police Department with a welfare check at 11:38 a.m. on Sunset Terrace in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted Lafayette County Human Services at 2:28 p.m. on Clay Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted the Shullsburg Police Department with a welfare check at 5:03 p.m. on South Iowa Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 7:12 p.m. on West High Street in South Wayne.

●  Christopher J. Potter, 36, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 11:31 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

On Tuesday, March 5:

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 7:20 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Trespassing was reported at 10:40 a.m. on Ohnstad Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 3:17 p.m. on Leahy Road, Town of Shullsburg. Shullsburg police assisted on scene.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:31 p.m. on Curve Street in Blanchardville.

●  Joaquin Duran-Duran, 53, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance at 7:35 p.m. on Pleasant View Road, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy assisted the Darlington Police Department with a domestic dispute at 8:49 p.m. on Clay Street in Darlington.

●  Heidi L. McMullen, 39, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:19 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

On Wednesday, March 6:

●  A civi dispute was reported at 2:09 a.m. at a residence on County O, Town of Seymour.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:42 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 11:16 a.m. on County N, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 2:32 p.m. on South Division Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy responded at 5:35 p.m. to East Center Street in South Wayne to assist the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

●  Derek R. Larson, 19, Rockton, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 11:22 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.
