Green County Sheriff

MONROE —  Chesney C. Wirth, 30, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related disorderly conduct at 1:29 p.m. June 17 at a residence in the W4500 block of Samson Road, Town of Jefferson as a result of a report of a disturbance. Wirth was jailed. 

●  Andres Perez Vivero, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license, his third offense within three years, at 4:30 a.m. June 20 in the N3600 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. 


Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On June 11: 

●  Dewayne A. Harnack, Evansville, was cited for driving with a suspended registration and no proof of vehicle insurance at 11:43 a.m. on East Coates Avenue and North Main Street. 

●  Travis R. Krychowiak, Monticello, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 1:22 p.m. on Lake Avenue and North Main Street. 

●  Police assisted Green County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop at 8:46 p.m. on East Coates Avenue and Madison Street. 

●  A lost license was reported at 3:31 p.m. June 13 in the village. The item was returned to its owner. 

On June 14: 

●  Police conducted traffic control for the Monticello Fire Department at 12:43 p.m. on North Main Street and East Coates Avenue. 

●  A dog at large was reported at 12:45 p.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street. The dog was returned to its owner. 

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 3:47 p.m. in the 400 block of North Pratt Road. 

●  Gabriel D. Lee, Madison, was cited for failure to wear a required seatbelt at 4:01 p.m. on East Coates Avenue and Aeberhard Drive. 

●  Police were enroute to assist New Glarus Police Department at 7:54 p.m. and then advised to disregard. 

On June 15: 

●  Grass in excess of 8” was reported at 9:02 a.m. in the 300 block of South Monroe Street. A corrective action letter was sent to residence. 

●  Police conducted traffic control for Monticello Fire First Response at 9:21 a.m. on North Main Street and East Coates Avenue. 

●  Police conducted traffic control for Monticello Fire Department at 1:54 p.m. on Wis. 69 and West Coates Avenue. 

●  Police responded for a vehicle unlock at 4:19 p.m. in the 100 block of West North Avenue. 

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 6:17 p.m. in the 300 block of South Garfield Street. Officers found damage to a building. This remains under investigation. 

On June 16: 

●  Police responded for a vehicle unlock at 9:03 a.m. in the 300 block of South Garfield Street. 

●  Police responded for the Brodhead Police Department at 5:53 p.m. in the 700 block of East Lake Avenue. Citizen was advised to contact Brodhead Police Department. 

On June 17: 

●  Police responded to check welfare at 12:17 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. 

●  A liquid spill was reported at 9:38 a.m. in the 400 block of North Main Street. This remains under investigation. 

On June 18: 

●  James E. Dawson, Mount Horeb, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 5:50 a.m. on West Coates Avenue and Washington Street. 

●  Police assisted Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS at 6:20 a.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. 

●  Trees in an unsafe condition were reported at 8:01 a.m. in the 700 block of East Lake Avenue. A property maintenance letter was sent to the property owner. 

●  Possible harassment was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 300 block of South Main Street. The matter was resolved.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 10:26 a.m. in the 100 block of West Highland Avenue.
