Albany Police

ALBANY — On July 20: 

●  Zander W. McCoy, 19, Beloit, was arrested on a traffic offense charge of violating absolute sobriety and cited for underage drinking, operating left of center and driving with a suspended license.

●  Haley A. Lindquist, 19, Beloit, was cited for underage drinking.

On July 25:

●  A juvenile from Marengo, Illinois was cited for underage drinking.

●  Patrick G. Damhauer, 28, Mount Prospect, Illinois, was cited for outside consumption of alcoholic beverages. 

●  Zachary T. Barfield, 25, West Dundee, Illinois, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Richard Oxly, 29, Chicago, was arrested on charges of operating while under the influence and possessing THC and drug paraphernalia.

On July 26:

●  Antonio A. Cardenas, 28, Poplar Grove, Illinois, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence with a passenger younger than 16.


Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On July 18:

●  Police assisted the Monticello Fire Department with traffic control at 4:42 p.m. on North Main Street at East Coates Avenue.

●  Police assisted the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 8:37 p.m. in the Town of Mount Pleasant.

●  A highly intoxicated woman was reported missing at 8:59 p.m. after she wandered from a birthday party at a residence on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue. She was last seen in the swamp area, and the reporting party was afraid she would drown. The Monticello Fire Department, Green County EMS, Green County Sheriff’s Office and New Glarus police assisted in the search. GPS cellphone ping tracking, K-9 tracking, digital heat sensors and drones were requested. She was found in the marsh and is OK.

On July 19:

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. Everything appeared to be fine.

●  A debit card was found at 11:01 a.m. in the 500 block of Washington Street. It was returned to the owner.

●  A burning complaint was reported at 11:33 a.m. in the 100 block of East Lake Avenue. No violation was observed.

On July 20:

●  Police were dispatched 10:02 a.m. to assist with a medical call in the village.

●  Fraud was reported at 10:41 a.m. in the 400 block of East Coates Avenue.

On July 21:

●  A lost bag was reported at 8:59 a.m. in the 400 block of Washington Street.

●  Police assisted with a paper service at 10:13 a.m., 12:03 p.m., 12:21 p.m. and 12:25 p.m.

On July 22:

●  Police assisted with a paper service at 9:30 a.m.

●  A child’s chair was found at 9:58 a.m. in the 200 block of Wis. 69.

●  A vehicle parked against the flow of traffic was reported at 11:36 a.m. in the 400 block of North Monroe Street. A citation was issued.

●  A driving complaint was reported at 2:22 p.m. in the 200 block of South Main Street.

●  Taylor Duell, 20, Belleville, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 5:21 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.

●  Carol Dixon, 52, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense within three years) at 5:44 p.m. on West Coates Avenue at North Monroe Street.

●  Police assisted a citizen at 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street.

●  Police found an unsecured premise at 8:35 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. The premise was secured and the owner notified.

On July 23:

●  A detached boat parked on the street was reported at 10:37 a.m. in the 200 block of East Wisconsin Avenue. It was removed.

●  Eight property maintenance violations were reported at 10:38 a.m. in the area of South Main Street after walkers reported they had to duck under tree branches walking on the sidewalk. Warning letters were mailed to the property owners. Citations will be issued if not resolved.

●  A parking violation was reported at 11:54 a.m. in the 400 block of North Monroe Street. The vehicle was removed.

●  Police assisted a lost motorist with directions at 12:02 p.m.

●  Dixon J. Fuentes Marin, 37, Monticello, was cited for excessive rear window tinting and no vehicle insurance at 12:10 p.m. in the 400 block of North Monroe Street.

●  A civil issue was reported at 1:04 p.m. in the 400 block of East Park Avenue.

●  An animal complaint was reported at 2 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street.

●  Richard Zaffino, 56, Belleville, was cited for driving left of center at 4:40 p.m. on East Coates Avenue at Madison Street.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Matthew G. Meehan, 32, Milwaukee, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while under the influence after deputies stopped him for a traffic violation at 1:23 a.m. July 25 in the 400 block of 2nd Street in New Glarus. After posting bond, he was released pending court. New Glarus police assisted.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On July 23:

●  Frederick S. Neuenschwander, 54, Monroe, was arrested on a Monroe Police Department warrant at 3:30 p.m. July 23 in the 1200 block of 12th Avenue for failure to appear in court on an OWI case. He was jailed.

●  Jeffrey W. Walters, 61, Monroe, was arrested on a Green County warrant at 5:52 p.m. July 23 in the 900 block of 16th Avenue for failure to appear in court for a child support case. He was jailed.

●  Jamie L. Rowe, 34, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic violence laws after police responded to a domestic dispute at 4:18 p.m. July 25 in the 2200 block of 11th Street. He was released after posting bail.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On July 9:

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 6:51 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  Deputies responded for a residential alarm at 6:56 a.m. on County A, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Deputies responded at 8:10 a.m. to Main Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a commercial alarm.

●  Gaia R. White, 21, Blanchardville, was cited for supplying alcohol to a minor at 10:30 a.m. on Old Q Road, Town of Blanchardville. The passenger in the vehicle, Nicholas J. McCormick, 20, Blanchardville, was cited for open intoxicants and no seatbelt.

●  A deputy responded at 4:30 p.m. to East Truth Street in Shullsburg to assist Shullsburg police with a welfare check.

●  Melanie F. Segner, 53, Monroe, was cited for operating left of center at 7:11 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 10:23 p.m. on West Church Street in Blanchardville.

●  Harassment between a man and woman who live together was reported at 10:40 p.m. on Apple Branch Road, Town of Argyle. The situation involved lots of alcohol.

●  An animal complaint was reported at 10:46 p.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

On July 11:

●  An animal problem was reported at 7:10 a.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:04 p.m. on Stub Lane, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 1:56 p.m. on Stone Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:06 p.m. on Dry Bone Road, Town of New Diggings.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 3:20 p.m. on South Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  A complaint about a neighbor for setting off fireworks was reported at 5:32 p.m. on Park Avenue in Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:09 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded to deliver a message for another agency at 5:03 p.m. on Riverbend Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded for a custody exchange at 5:41 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 5:47 p.m. on Noble Street in Gratiot.

●  Kleine A. L. Leonard, 21, Dodgeville, was cited for speeding at 10:16 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.
