MONROE — Officers attempted to make a traffic stop at 12:19 a.m. Jan. 19 on 19th Avenue and 6th Street. A pursuit ensued with Green County deputies stopping the vehicle in the N4200 block of Wis. 59. Chaz N. J. Martinez, 27, Fitchburg, was arrested on a hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole for a probation violation as well as fleeing an officer. He was also cited for failure to stop at stop sign, unreasonable and imprudent speed, driving after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device. He was jailed.
