Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

●  Christine Lois Smith Morgan, 43, Apex, North Carolina, was cited for speeding at 1:45 p.m. on Wis. 23.

●  Camron S. Zywicki, 31, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of operating while under the influence at about 3 p.m. following a traffic complaint on Wis. 23. He was later released to a responsible adult.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27:

●  Calvin Stephens, 18, Cuba City, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 3:35 p.m. on Galena Street.

●  Lane Eggers, 20, Mineral Point, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt at 4:35 p.m. on Wis. 23.

●  Enoc A. Colegial, 33, Madison, was cited for altering a vehicle registration sticker at 6:35 p.m. on Wis. 23.

On Thursday, Nov. 28:

●  Tucker J. Wiegel, 27, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 2:25 a.m. following a traffic stop on Ravine Street.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — On Monday, Nov. 25:

●  An Albany man, 19, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a phone at 2:03 p.m. following a domestic abuse complaint.

●  A Monroe woman, 29, was arrested on Green County warrants at 10:43 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. She was jailed.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

●  Two 17-year-old Brodhead girls were cited for disorderly conduct at 8:03 a.m. following an altercation in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27:

●  A Brodhead woman, 25, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 8:09 a.m. in the 600 block of 11th Street.

●  Embezzlement was reported at 10:34 a.m. in the 2200 block of 1st Center Avenue. Money had been taken without permission. The matter was resolved by the complainant. No citations were issued.

●  A barking dog was reported at 4:22 p.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street. The owner was not located. The dog was taken to the Green County Humane Society.

●  A door standing open was reported at 5:29 p.m. in the 500 block of East 9th Avenue. Contact was made with the owner, and all appeared normal.

●  A vehicle accident was reported at 5:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 7th Avenue. No citations were issued due to it occurring on private property.

●  A loose dog was reported at 7:40 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. The owner was not located. The dog was taken to the Green County Humane Society.

●  A Brodhead man, 57, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 9:16 p.m. in the 600 block of 10th Street.

On Thursday, Nov. 28:

●  Disorderly conduct involving people removing items from holiday decorations was reported at 2:25 a.m. in the 900 block of West Exchange Street. The mess was cleaned up and warnings were issued.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Alfonso Leon-Lozano, 32, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the 800 block of 8th Street at 2:26 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. He was also cited for driving without a valid license (third offense) and speeding. He was booked and released pending court.

On Saturday, Nov. 30:

●  Carlos Aguirre Avendano, 21, Monroe, was taken into custody on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 1:51 a.m. at 11th Street and 17th Avenue. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

●  Trinity J. Wright, 29, Monroe, was arrested for a probation violation after officers responded at 3:11 p.m. to the 1700 block of 17th Street to check the welfare of a person. Wright was jailed.

●  Taylor M. Snider, 26, Monroe, was arrested in the 500 block of 22nd Avenue at 8:36 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, on two Lafayette County warrants for failure to pay fines on citations for possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance. She posted the required cash bond and was released.

●  Krista L. Hille, 25, Freeport, was cited for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:46 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of 10th Street.

●  Peter J. Knutson, 40, Monroe, was arrested on a Monroe Police Department warrant in the 1300 block of 16th Street at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4. The warrant for his arrest was issued earlier that day in Green County Circuit Court along with a criminal complaint charging him with 12 felony counts of bail jumping and six felony counts of possessing child pornography. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Jeffrey A. Arneson, 21, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license, second offense within three years, after deputies responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle that was partially in the roadway in the N4000 block of Hiawatha Road, Town of Jordan, at 8:29 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25. Arneson was identified as the driver. He advised the vehicle was having mechanical issues.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

●  A vehicle being driven all over the roadway was reported at 12:41 p.m. in the N8900 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Deputies located the vehicle and cited the driver, Jose Reyes A. Bautista Razo, 41, Fitchburg, for driving with a revoked license and failure to install an ignition interlock device. New Glarus and Monticello police assisted.

●  Darrin W. Demrow, 40, Brodhead, was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant following a traffic stop for a registration violation at 4:46 p.m. in the W400 block of County E, Town of Decatur. He was jailed.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27:

●  A traffic stop at 1:03 a.m. in the W2500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson, resulted in to citations of speeding, driving without a valid license and non-registration of a vehicle to the driver, Hunter A. Davis, 20, Beloit, and the arrest of a passenger, Sebastion D. Savage, 19, Beloit, on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant. Savage was jailed.

●  Daniel S. Wirth, 48, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant out of Stephenson County, Illinois, following a traffic stop at 2:14 p.m. in the N3800 block of County N, Town of Monroe. He was taken to the jail, where he was released after bond was posted.

On Saturday, Nov. 30:

●  Chase J. Rau, 31, Browntown, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 6:12 p.m. to a reported domestic disturbance in the 400 block of East Dale Street, Town of Cadiz. He was jailed pending bond or court.

On Sunday, Dec. 1:

●  Shaun L. Koss, 38, Albany, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 6:20 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of 5th Street in Albany. Koss was also cited for driving without a valid license (second offense), hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle and unsafe backing of a vehicle. He was jailed pending bond or court.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3:

●  Brandon N. Hambrick, 22, Madison, was arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license, third or greater offense, following a traffic stop at 5:17 a.m. in the N4300 of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was released pending court.

●  Larry A. Strothman, 32, Juda, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections hold at 9:30 a.m. at the Probation and Parole Office in the Green County Justice Center. He was jailed.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4:

●  Blake T. Vanryswyk, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 3:19 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office on a probation hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Nov. 23:

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 3:39 a.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Raymond J. Schuchart, 37, Cuba City, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 4:01 a.m. on South Galena Road, Town of Benton.

●  Deputies responded to assist Darlington police with a lift assist at 8:33 a.m. on Ohio Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 9 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 9:15 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded for a lift assist at 11:56 a.m. on Francis Street in Shullsburg. Shullsburg EMS assisted on scene.

●  A deputy responded at 1:38 p.m. to Jericho Road, Town of Belmont, to assist the Madison Police Department.

●  An autistic child on a Care Track bracelet was reported missing at 4:51 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted deputies in finding her. She was located. 

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:46 p.m. on North Van Buren Street in Benton.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:48 p.m. on River Road, Town of Argyle.

●  Brent T. Schroeder, 44, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 8:56 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.
