Albany Police

ALBANY — On Saturday, July 27:

●  Adam S. Desouky, 29, Madison, was cited for urinating in public

●  Kayla R. Kaiser, 30, Evansville, was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration and no vehicle insurance.

●  Jason T. Gamble, 46, Greendale, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

●  Lisa A. Schultz, 53, Oregon, was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  Rachel M. Snider, 42, Monroe, was arrested on first-offense charges of operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. She was also cited for failure to obey a traffic sign.

●  Ryon M. McCoy, 37, Evansville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of an intoxicant. He was also cited for operating without vehicle registration lamps.

On Sunday, July 28:

●  Jade N. Jorgensen, 27, Belleville, was arrested on first-offense charges of operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, as well as charges of possessing THC and drug paraphernalia and driving left of the center line.

●  Andrew C. Gibbs, 22, Madison, was cited for non-registration of an auto and driving without a valid license.

●  Andrea M. Geitt, 19, Stoughton, was cited for underage drinking.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of July 21-17, police performed 57 security checks, 37 citizen assists, 15 assists of other agencies, 17 vehicle registrations and 13 follow-ups to incidents; responded to 30 calls for service, 10 EMS calls, 13 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made six traffic stops. No fire calls and no detox or mental health transports were reported.

On Sunday, July 21:

●  Dogs running loose were reported at 8:38 a.m. in the 1700 block of 11th Street. The owners were out looking for the dogs and located them.

●  A Browntown man, 62, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 3:01 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.

●  Vandalism was reported at 5:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of 21st Street. A vehicle had been keyed.

●  The theft of a license plate off a vehicle was reported at 7:35 p.m. in the 700 block of East Exchange Street.

●  The theft of a sign was reported at 7:52 p.m. in the 800 block of East Exchange Street.

On Monday, July 22:

●  A Janesville woman, 26, was cited for non-registration of an auto at 9:35 a.m. in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Two people in an argument were reported at 5:03 p.m. in the 600 block of East Exchange Street. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

●  A dog bite was reported at 5:37 p.m. in the 1200 block of 16th Street. The matter was referred to the Green County Health Department.

●  A Poplar Grove, Illinois woman, 22, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department at 10:09 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Tuesday, July 23:

●  An injured crane was reported at 9:26 a.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. The bird was turned over to the Department of Natural Resources.

●  A dog at large was reported at 4:19 p.m. in the E200 block of 23rd Street. The owner was warned.

●  An unwanted person on private property was reported for trespassing at 8:33 p.m. in the 900 block of West Exchange Street. The person was warned.

On Wednesday, July 24:

●  A code violation of grass mowed into the street was reported at 9:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  Debris in the roadway was reported at 4:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The items were removed.

●  Barking dogs were reported at 8:10 p.m. in the 400 block of 15th Street. Upon police arrival, no violation was located.

On Thursday, July 25:

●  People violating park curfew hours were reported at 3:05 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Warnings were issued.

●  Harassing text messages were reported at 11:56 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.

●  A Brodhead woman, 28, was cited for inattentive driving at 2:59 p.m., following a traffic crash in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Barking dogs were reported at 6:11 p.m. in the 100 block of 15th Street. Upon police arrival, no violation was located.

●  A code violation of too many dogs in a residence was reported at 6:18 p.m. in the 400 block of 15th Street. Police found no violation.

●  An attempted burglary was reported at 8:39 p.m. in the 600 block of 17th Street.

On Friday, July 26:

●  A Beloit man, 25, was arrested on charges of possessing THC and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 5:09 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street. He was also cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license. A Janesville man, 23, was also arrested on a charge of possessing marijuana. The K-9 team assisted in the arrest.

On Saturday, July 27:

●  The theft of bottles of alcohol was reported at 10:01 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Theft of property from a vehicle was reported at 1:28 p.m. in the 1300 block of East 5th Avenue.

●  A fireworks complaint was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 300 block of 4th Street. Warnings were issued.

●  An Oregon woman, 47, was cited for speeding at 6:47 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A Janesville woman, 38, was cited for speeding at 6:06 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

●  A Juda woman, 36, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance at 6:24 p.m. in the 1900 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A suspicious parked vehicle was reported at 11:23 p.m. in the 1500 block of 11th Street. Police made contact and learned the vehicle belonged to people fishing in the area.
