Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Daisy M Harris, 37, Grand Junction, Colorado, was cited for issuance of worthless checks at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, following a complaint from a business on Main Street.

●  Andrew R. Stark, 39, Darlington, was cited for junk vehicles  at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, following a complaint at a residence on Ohio Street.

●  John A. Vieth, 48, Darlington, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct at 12:04 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, following a domestic disturbance on Galena Street. He posted bond and was released.

On Sunday, Aug. 25:

●  Maria S. Young, 31, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of operating a UTV while under the influence of an intoxicant at 2:19 a.m., following a traffic stop on Washington Street. She was also cited for operating a UTV without a safety certificate and for an ATV/UTV access route rules violation. She was released to a responsible party.

●  Jose L. Falcon-Sayago, 39, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 11:38 a.m., following a traffic stop on County F.

●  Nena L. Juras, 32, Argyle, was cited for displaying a false vehicle registration at 3:26 p.m., following a traffic stop on North Street.

●  Jeffrey G. Lancaster, 45, Darlington, was cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle as a driver at 7:46 p.m., following police contact at a business on Main Street.

●  Dulce V. Ramirez-Dolores, 33, Darlington, was cited for battery and disorderly conduct following an investigation into a July 24 incident at a residence on East Louisa Street.


Monroe Police 

MONROE – Gary Lee Wagner Jr., 35, Lodi, was arrested on a Dane County felony warrant for a sex registry violation charge after officers responded to the 2200 block of 1st Street at 4:38 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, in an attempt to locate Wagner. He was transported to the jail.

●  Police were called to a report of an altercation outside Sinner’s Saloon, 1428 17th St., at 1:18 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. Angel M. Lopez Sanchez, 34, Argyle, allegedly instigated the fight and punched another man. He had left by the time police arrived. A woman at the scene also reported that Lopez Sanchez was a passenger in a vehicle that backed up and nearly hit her. She had tried to document the near-hit with her phone’s camera as it was happening. Police referred that case to the District Attorney’s Office for possible charges against the driver. Police located Lopez Sanchez at 6:23 a.m. at a residence in the 2300 block of 12th Street and arrested him on charges of disorderly conduct and battery. He was jailed pending court.

DARLINGTON — On Wednesday, Aug. 14:

●  Heidi R. Wackerhauser, 42, Cuba City, was cited for speeding at 7:10 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:55 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 10:05 p.m. on Lake Joy Lane, Town of Belmont.

On Thursday, Aug. 15:

●  A deputy responded for a commercial alarm at 4:52 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Laci Lee Richards, 22, Apple River, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 8:19 a.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot.

●  An animal problem was reported at 8:26 a.m. on County XX, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Kailynn E. Martin, 20, Warren, was cited for speeding at 8:38 a.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot.

●  Robert F. Pugh, 69, Germantown, Tennessee, was cited for speeding at 10:02 a.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot.

●  A traffic hazard of several pieces of wood on the roadway was reported at 2:07 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:31 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  A restraining order violation was reported at 3:49 p.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 5:08 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

●  Eric W. Lindskog, 36, Genoa City, was cited for speeding at 6:03 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded at 7:37 p.m. to Main Street in Gratiot for a utility problem. Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative assisted on scene.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:38 p.m. on Spore Road, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 9:03 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.

On Friday, Aug. 16:

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:28 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 8:26 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 12:12 p.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  Otilia Esperanza Santos, 30, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license or proof of vehicle insurance at 12:55 p.m. on County I, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 2:11 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 2:49 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 3:50 p.m. on County U, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:55 p.m. on County D, Town of Lamont.

●  Deputies responded at 7:30 p.m. to a report of an intoxicated man bothering customers in front of The Vault bar and restaurant, 114 W. Center St., South Wayne. As a result, Clyde L. Leverton, 48, South Wayne, was arrested and jailed on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 9:47 p.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington.
