Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Steven M. Crisman, 33, Stoughton, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant after deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 7:26 p.m. Aug. 7 at Sweet Minihaha Campground, N4697 County E, rural Albany. He was jailed.

●  Benjamin J. Rudolf, 20, Burlington, was cited for speeding and possessing more than one driver’s license at 6:13 p.m. Aug. 11 in the W5100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.


Albany Police

ALBANY — Alberto Medina Ferreira, 39, Madison, was cited July 30 for driving without a valid license and following too closely.

On Aug. 1:

●  Erika S. Gartley, 54, Albany, was arrested and jailed following a family dispute at her home on South Taylor Street. She is charged in Green County Circuit Court with a felony count of disorderly conduct and misdemeanor counts of battery and resisting an officer. Her court-ordered bond conditions in the case include daily alcohol testing at the Albany Police Department and no drinking, bars or liquor stores.

●  Mark R. Maroni, 26, Madison, was cited for trespassing on private property on Water Street. He was returning from tubing when he walked up onto a vacant lot with a port-a-potty. “No Trespassing” signs are posted.

●  As the result of a two-vehicle collision, Warren M. Ehrig, 22, Beaver Dam, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence and cited for following too closely, inattentive driving, non-registration of auto and no vehicle insurance.

On Aug. 2:

●  Mansour H. Baalbaki, 28, Aurora, Illinois, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence and cited for operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, driving left of center, no vehicle insurance and failure to notify DMV of address change. A passenger, Andrea K. Stuiber, 32, also of Aurora, interfered with the traffic stop and was cited for obstructing or resisting an officer.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of July 26-Aug. 1, police performed 57 security checks, 33 citizen assists, 10 assists of other agencies, 12 follow-ups to incidents, 17 vehicle registrations and five traffic stops; responded to 56 calls for service and reported nine EMS calls, 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and no fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported.

On July 26:

●  A Brodhead man, 26, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:53 a.m. in the 800 block of 14th Street.

●  A dog at large was reported at 11:46 a.m. in the 600 block of 12th Street. Police issued a warning.

On July 27:

●  A Brodhead man, 50, was cited for parking left of center facing traffic at 12:26 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  A Brodhead woman, 24, was cited for parking left of center facing traffic at 12:31 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  A curfew violation was reported at 3:36 a.m. at Decatur Dam Park, N3768 Park Rd. Police issued warnings.

●  A vehicle parked left of center facing traffic was reported at 9:55 a.m. in the 700 block of 18th Street. Police issued a warning.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance was reported at 11:36 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  The theft of a UTV from a building was reported at 1:21 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. This remains under investigation.

On July 28:

●  A phone call scam was reported at 6:13 a.m. in the 1500 block of 17th Street. The recipient did not disclose personal information.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance was reported at 12:11 p.m. in the 1100 block of 17th Street.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance was reported at 12:18 p.m. in the 1000 block of 17th Street. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was arrested for bail jumping at 8:37 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On July 29:

●  A tavern not closed at bar time was reported at 2:01 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police issued warnings.

●  A hazard of pulled-down cable lines was reported at 8:17 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The driver of the semi that pulled down the lines was located by a Green County deputy in Juda.

●  A vehicle blocking a lane was reported at 5:57 p.m. in the 900 block of 16th Street. The vehicle was removed prior to police arrival.

●  A Brodhead man, 25, was cited for parking left of center facing traffic at 6:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of 16th Street.

On July 30:

●  Dogs running at large were reported at 9:24 p.m. in the 800 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police checked the area and did not locate the dogs.

●  A missing street sign was reported at 9:36 p.m. in the 500 block of 8th Street.

●  A dog running at large was reported at 11:11 p.m. in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued a warning.

On July 31:

●  A hazard of a tree limb on power lines was reported at 7:33 p.m. in the 300 block of East 3rd Avenue. The matter was turned over to Brodhead Water and Light.

On Aug. 1:

●  A beer can thrown into the road was reported at 2:13 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  Dirt bikes on the roadway were reported at 9:36 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued warnings.

●  A curfew violation was reported at 11:28 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead man, 26, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:55 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 3rd Avenue.

On Aug. 3:

●  Theft was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The person returned to pay for the item.

●  A barking dog was reported at 8:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue. A warning was issued.

On Aug. 4:

●  Dogs running at large were reported at 11:59 a.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street. A warning was issued.

●  Harassment was reported at 1:53 p.m. in the 800 block of West 2nd Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A scam phone call was reported at 3:55 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. The recipient did not disclose personal information to the caller.

●  A Brodhead man, 35, was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed at 6:19 p.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street following a verbal altercation.

●  A barking dog was reported at 7:08 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 4th Avenue. Police were unable to locate the dog.

On Aug. 5:

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was cited for having dangerous animals at 5:47 a.m. in the 500 block of 5th Street.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:54 p.m. in the 500 block of 11th Street. Warnings were issued.

●  A phone scam was reported at 3:54 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street. The recipient did not disclose personal information to the caller.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:49 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. A warning was issued.

On Aug. 6:

●  A Brodhead woman, 20, was cited for selling alcohol to an underage or intoxicated person at 1:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  A Brodhead woman, 20, was cited for an underage alcohol violation at 2:27 a.m. in the 100 block of 13th Street.

●  An ongoing barking dog complaint was reported at 8:40 a.m. in the 700 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police were unable to locate the source of the violation.

●  An Orfordville woman, 49, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 9:42 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Grass clippings in the roadway were reported at 11:54 a.m. in the 800 block of East 5th Avenue. The grass was cleared.

On Aug. 7:

●  A public order violation involving no masks being worn by staff was reported at 12:06 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue; at 12:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue; at 9:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue; at 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue; and at 10:22 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police reminded staff of the state order mandating masks.

●  People in the park after-hours and out past city curfew were reported at 12:57 a.m. in the 300 block of 4th Street. Warnings were issued.

●  A dog left in a garage was reported at 12:27 p.m. in the 500 block of 7th Street. No violation was observed.

●  A tar tank emission smell was reported at 2:52 p.m. in the 1000 block of 10th Street. The matter was resolved.

●  A phone scam was reported at 3:09 p.m. in the 700 block of East 6th Avenue. It remained under investigation.

●  A loud car stereo was reported at 4:31 p.m. in the 500 block of East 2nd Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A fireworks violation was reported at 8:53 p.m. in the 1400 block of 17th Street. Police determined the violation was not occurring within city limits but from the subdivision south of the high school.

●  A health code violation involving a dog in a bar on July 24 was reported at 9:37 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. A warning was issued and referred to the Green County Health Department.

On Aug. 8:

●  A public order violation involving no masks being worn by staff was reported at 12:31 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Staff were reminded of the state order.

●  An extension cord running across the sidewalk connected to a camper was reported at 1:47 a.m. in the 500 block of 9th Street. A warning was issued.

●  A dog left in a vehicle was reported at 1:46 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The vehicle windows were down and the dog appeared to be in good health.

●  A dog running at large was reported at 4:51 p.m. in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A subject burning in a firepit without a cover was reported at 7:27 p.m. in the 700 block of East 8th Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:26 p.m. in the 1100 block of East 5th Avenue. A warning was issued. 

●  A subject burning in a firepit without a cover was reported at 10:34 p.m. in the 100 block of East 3rd Avenue. A warning was issued.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Kaiden H. Klemm, 17, Monroe, was cited for violating GDL restrictions at 10:57 p.m. July 31 on Wis. 23 following a traffic stop.

On Aug. 2:

●  Gavin R. Burdick, 22, Mineral Point, was cited for possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle as a passenger at 12:04 a.m. on Fayette Road.

●  Drew B.N. Graham, 22, Delavan, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving the wrong way on a divided highway at 12:43 a.m. on Main Street.

●  Payton A. Flannery, 18, Argyle, was arrested on a charge of violating the absolute sobriety law at 2:36 a.m. on Louisa Street. Flannery was also cited for underage drinking. Passengers McKenzee J. Granberg, 18, Blanchardville, and Travis J.D. Dammen, 19, and Addisyn G. Noble, 18, both of Argyle, were cited for underage drinking.

●  Daisy M. Harris, 38, Darlington, was arrested on a warrant at 1:32 p.m. Aug. 2 at a residence on Washington Street. She was booked and released after posting bond.

●  Jason H. Stenhulson, 37, Janesville, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence and driving with a revoked license at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 6 following an investigation into a crash at Fayette Road and Keep Street. He was also cited for hit-and-run on property adjacent to a highway, violation of an ignition interlock device court order and for having open intoxicants on the street.

●  Camerino Viveros, 27, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at 10:52 p.m. Aug. 9 on West Cornelia Street.

●  Juan Guevara-Grajales, 19, Darlington, was cited on a second-offense charge of driving without a valid license at 11:33 p.m. Aug. 9 on West River Street.
